Paul Gilbert is not made of money and it takes an amazing amount of work just to exist on this level that you find so unsatisfactory. Like any other touring musician, Paul would have to do more than just break even to want to play somewhere. Even if he could fill a small theater wherever you are, I doubt that would be the norm and it just wouldn't make financial sense. Travel costs a lot and you have to pay your band. It really adds up. I'm sure he'd LIKE to play all over the world.

He DOES travel all over the world, just not the US. Read his tour dates. He would actually have to travel less to tour the US, he lives in Las Vegas.

I know he does. He does very well overseas because he is more well-known there. If he goes to Japan he would MORE than pack a small theater. The money he makes from his non-domestic shows is a lot more than he would make in the states. Mr. Big was huge in Asia, which is why they could play a huge tour there. If Mr. Big played in the USA they would LOSE money because they couldn't fill enough seats to make money. You misunderstood me.

Traveling expenses aren't an issue when you're making a ton of money, which he would NOT do if he toured here. If he paid his band and they traveled from Las Vegas to play some small place in Dallas he would be lucky to break even. If he decided to play in Japan, he would pack the hell out of some pretty big places and have more than enough left over after travel/band expenses to make the trip worth while. I've toured and I know a bit about the business. Trust me on this one.

Sometimes an artist should take a few off the chin for the fans. And make up with it with more lucrative gigs.Somehow Vai, Satriani, Petrucci, Tommy Emmanuel, and Steve Morse have always seem to be able to bop around the US, including the Northeast.

Lo siento, no te puedo ofrecer el concierto completo, porque lo grabé con una cámara fotográfica, y cada cierto tiempo debía ir cambiando las memorias SD y cortando la grabación... Pero están varias de las canciones disponibles para bajar desde la dirección que puse en la descripción del video, arriba a la derecha.

Al menos tienen mejor calidad que youtube! :-)
