I was at this concert sitting font and center tickets 4 or 5 bucks this was 1965 at Radcilff Stadium in Fresno, Ca . and the other headliners where the Byrds...what was great about this concert is both the Stones and the Byrds had all the original members. The riot looked staged because the girls suddenly came out of nowhere and there weren't that many so we where surpised when the concert was stopped. But it was a great concert thanks for posting this ...it brought back some cool memories
This would be awesome with sound, but very cool video anyway. Can you explain me why is it silent? I have seen some other videos with the same image quality and no sound. I guess that bit of sound in the middle of the video is overdubbed.
That attack from the girls did come out of nowhere. I'm starting to belive those stories about Andrew Oldham setting up those riots just to attract publicity.
All in all, though, incredible footage! Gives you an idea of what early Stones tours in the States were like.
Wow. Thanks for putting that up. Rare stuff. It's weird, it's like nothing is happening then the crowd attacks. It looked incredibly boring. Must be odd to play some shows where people are "out of their heads" and then shows like this, outside in the daylight to Mom & Dad letting their daughter see the latest boy band.
I could be mistaken, but I believe this concert occurred just a few days after the Rolling Stones recorded "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" in Los Angeles.
@kingufokid It is definitely from 1965. A Fresno news station which is here on youtube somewhere did a 2 part segment from their concert there in 1965. I'll find the clip and post it.
@NICOSTONES I used to think this was their first tour except one one small minor detail. Brian Jones did not have his Vox Teardrop on the first American tour. He used his Gretsch. Keith is also playing a Gibson Reverse Firebird VII. Neither Brian nor Keith played a Gibson Firebird until 1965.

bullshit, keith is playing a Gibson Firebird VII, that's 1965, impossible to be 1964.
