I did the same as tondelay in a 18' Y-flyer on Lake Butler in Windermere FL in the sixties. You just use an extension pole and stand on the sides. Just takes a measure of skill is all.
I wish you had told me that when I was doing it in 1974 on Lake Michigan. Had you told me that I would not have used a tiller extention and a quick release shackle on the harness....I didn't do this when I was racing but I did it and got pretty good at it during solo sailing....Geeez now you tell me it cant be done....darn it all....:)
Awesome!!! Many boaters feel they must wave hello at other boaters. This is THE way to "Say Hi" to other sailors, catamaran style! Your expertise, control and confidence is "top drawer"! Kudos also to the videographer... nice work.

You can trap solo. I do it all the time. All you need is a telescoping tiller.
