i hate jigglypuff for rest so much. That's all hes got. Ya he's got good recovery and a few strong moves but absolutely no range at all. If it wasn't for rest jigglypuff would never be used.

@RedtheGhost actually i remember playing the original and jiggs hitboxes are way larger recovery isn't as good and for me the rests are much easier to perform. I like melee but some of my favorite characters lost a certain appeal. It happened with brawl too. Every ssb has certain characters at there peak. Captain Falcon, Kirby, jigglypuff, and ness, are imo best in the original, fox, and most of the characters are best in melee, brawl only has a few characters that were actually better in brawl

Anyway Jigg has super air mobility that makes up for it's slow dash speed, and allows it to use it's excellent arials to their full potential, and combo with them too. Jigg wouldn't be used as much without rest, but It'd still be used.

This video does not do nearly enough justice to the epicness that was Genesis. It's just clips from a few really intense matches of a handful of players, and some clips lose their allure without the context of the rest of the match and the knowledge of the identity of the players. There's a lot more amazing content out there, even among the matches shown here. Rests and Falco combos are great but a lot more can be shown in ten minutes.
