I use to live in Richmond Hill, Ga. and I was only about 5 to 8 miles from the fort. That fort is so rich in history. Well the whole area is rich in history. On that same road going the other way you have Henery Ford plantation where he made his first tractor.And where the movie Gator was made on that plantation with Burt Reynolds.

@chuck7599 We loved it there. Beautiful place to visit. Did not know that about the plantation or we would have went there as well.
