Whoa, look at some of these replies on here! Alpine clearly states how they operate, like the site says, this career is NOT for everyone. I think if people thought of it as a normal job, and followed the same guidelines, they would understand. I dont know thou, I work a 45 to 50 hour a week job dealing with real people face to face and on phone, so what do I know. Just my opinion.

A drug test...Thats funny,since Ive worked at several different call centers,and drug use is really as common as drinking a coffee or having a tea,as far a marijuana goes(allot of people smoke marijuana on lunch breaks,ect.

In fact,I would credit Marijuana as a "tool" that can be used in extremely stressful situations brought on by talking to numerous,irate,callers,and defenatly helps one to center,or focus once again and carry on with the workday.

Unfortunately this is one of many I checked out that don't hire out of California.

The only one I have found so far is Cloud10, Convergys, and one other I can't remember.

I have seen Arise but they require more up front costs, namely paying your state agency fees to set yourself up as a corporation.

I too have applied, and i have not gotten and emails from them. my profile page says that i have completed everything, although my home page says that i need to answer some screening questions and at the bottom it says to complete skills assessment. although i have looked over what i thought was everything that i needed to answer, along with the essay,. and all the questions to leave on the form. I have clicked support, although it is now sunday, and i wrote to the last

Yes Ill keep updating on whatever happens. One heads up when you have the phone interview you do a role play where you are the customer service rep and she is the customer and you have to help her.
