  • Well, forget my previous comment. Here is some updated information:

Seventeen students filed a class action lawsuit Dec. 5, claiming that police and school officials had violated both their due process rights, and their constitutional rights to be free from unlawful searches. And on Dec. 15, the ACLU's Drug Policy Litigation Project was slated to file a lawsuit on behalf of 20 individual students, alleging Fourth Amendment search violations.

  • Holy shit. Is this really necessary? I'm fairly certain this isn't even legal, couldn't this be considered an unlawful search? Even if the school permitted it, they have no right to provide authorization of a personal search.

  • They went way to far on this, first of all they knew the guy they were trying to get rode the bus and what time the bus arrived at the school...PS: Dude wasnt even there yet..smh

  • Goddamn, I love my South Carolina but fuck, the big guys here take everything waaaayy too far. The other day my class got searched, luckily i didnt bring nothin that day but still. Its a fuckin plant, no offense mary. I hate SCPD or w/e

  • What makes this any different from a terrorist attack?

  • Cops can go fuck them-selves. It's not school anymore, it's a goddamn prison!

  • bitch azz cops

  • This is cool

  • Kids at my school smoke weed on campus everyday. They get caught all the tima and nothing like that NEVER happens. Shits crazy...

  • they did this to me when i went to berkeley middle school like 4 years ago that junk been deep

  • Principal McCracken was a paranoid racist lunatic, and this just went to prove how unfounded his beliefs were that the students were drug addicts. They didn't find ANY drugs in the school. And he was fired.

  • Comment removed

  • I live like a half hour from there and remember hearing abt it...fucking cops acting like everyone is armed...they gave me hell in jville cause they all knew I smoke herb

  • this makes me sad there is nuthing rong with weed

  • HOLY SHIT if they did that to my school........

  • it was alot worst then it looked on tape. and it was really bad and i took like two hours. very worthless cuz they didnt really find anything

  • for all that to happen these kids had to be moving bricks and not all cops are like this i remember when a cop found a nick on me and asked me if could getem a dime and all this shit i was like uhhhh nah 0.o

  • @funkpwr Nope, there were no drugs in this school. The Principal was just a racist prick, and he was fired after he had this happen.

  • they did the same in my school, and I'm in the same state, except no guns involved. And yes the dogs were there too.

  • police drunk with power... typical

  • @ Junior

You can't close your eyes and say there is no such thing as laws and they go away. The current government continues to uphold these laws and you aren't "owned" by them, but you are accountable. Legitimate or not you are held responsible and are punished accordingly if you break them.

Abuses of power happen but not everyone in government is out to get you. The laws we have in place are there to keep life civilized, sure there are flaws, but would you rather have no laws?

  • wow some of the comments on here are sad. people just so easily and willfully lay down all of their individual human potential and enslave themselves to the political class....these people were trained in the public school system to be good little submitizens.

this video clearly and utterly demonstrates that we exist in a fascist police state, no question. all the justifications are just reflections of people's fear in admitting the truth. this country is so bankrupt in every way.

  • It does look like a prison raid. It may be bad to smoke marijuana and shit like that (no offense BipolarStoner) But there is no reason to go that far.

  • I take no offense. For some, it is bad, just like drinking, gambling, lust, gaming or anything else people take to far. Furthermore, I can even respect blanket judgments on things from others that they consider bad so long as that judgment doesn't include the people. Blanket judgments on an entire group of people for their "failings" gets very tricky.

  • thats pretty deep.

  • ajajajajaj.... ay buey, thats my high school. I was a lil freshman when that happened.

  • no wonder your so against it you love the drug. Mr.mcrakin should not have been fired

  • yea man i agree he was awesome, mr spencer is a tool

  • yea mcrakin lives in my neighborhood and hes still depressed about it

  • i was a freshmen when this happened, it really isn't a big deal this is what happens when people break the law

  • arent people supposed to be innocent until proven guilty? This is almost terrorism. The law is made by men and is thus subject to all the same short comings. Anyone that fails to see the injustice to the innocents in this video is someone all my words will never reach.

  • terrorism is when you do an unthinkable act to innocent people, they had reasonable evidence to search the school because there was a big drug problem. They had been using the cameras for weeks gathering evidence of drug deals right inside the school. I obviously have a different opinion of it because I went to this school, and yes drugs were a big problem, I remember trying to go piss in the upstairs bathroom and walking in why some dude snorted coke off the sink

  • nobody can take someone whose screen name is bipolarstoner420 serious, your guilty just by looking at what you use for a screen name.

  • So a smoker is automatically considered to be a lesser person than everyone else? Nothing I do that you can derive from my youtube channel is anything I should feel guilt over. My lifestyle choices are mine to make and they are not relevant to anyone determining my character.

  • If your "life choice" is to smoke Marijuana...It is clearly relevant to your character. That is why testing positive can keep you out of being hired for a job. They are basing your character on your inability to distinguish right from wrong or at least legal from illegal. It speaks to someone's character if they have a DUI, or get picked up for larceny right? Just because Marijuana is popular doesn't make someone who chooses to smoke it any less of a criminal :)

  • Sky, Our founding fathers were criminally responsible for treason but nobody sees them as criminals. If the law is unfit then I can't support it. DUI or larceny has a victim or potential victims so those examples are endangering others. I do not smoke in public and I tend to only smoke in the eve when everything is quiet and restful. I am a victim of the law in ways but my actions have no victim. My habits have no fit bearing to make one consider me too small minded for real conversation.

  • A law being unfair doesn't make it less of a law. I'm not arguing that the law is fair, simply that it holds the same weight as any other. It doesn't make you small minded or a lesser person, but it does still mean you are breaking the law. You are choosing to do something you know is illegal (whether or not you feel it should be). These choices are what define our character. There are victims, don't kid yourself. Unless nobody needs your help ever in the eve.

  • @MrSkylightleo

and what confers upon the law any legitimacy? you seem to worship the law as if it is handed down from a higher power. in reality the law does not have any legitimacy...the govt was created and restrained by the constitution, and the constitution was signed by no one who is alive today.

i am not owned by past dead generations, i am not owned by my fellow human beings. the so called "govt" is nothing but an extortion racket which has hijacked the law and justice markets.

  • Also, the students subjected to this could file claims of excessive use of force due to the drawn weapons. If the court agreed they'd have a nice class action lawsuit. The law goes two ways to hold everyone accountable!(Or should) :)

  • But the people who run the courts are part of the same extortion racket as the people who committed the crimes. cops are almost always let go with a MUCH lighter sentence than a mere peon would receive (they usually get a paid vacation, called "administrative leave"), not to mention the fact that they are de jure empowered to use all kinds of tactics that would be deemed highly illegal for anyone without a cosutme and an arbitrarily granted state privilege.

    the political class owns you.

  • @MrSkylightleo

So, dickface, if the law said that religion was illegal and someone got caught with a bible at work, does that have anything to do with their ability to do their job?

The point is, it's an immoral law that makes about as much sense as outlawing religion. In fact, it makes LESS sense than that since religion actually DOES ruin lives.

    Fucking sheep.

  • @TimeRipper4u

    "Guilty"?

    Go to hell.

  • Go fuck yourself wgalvitron.

  • haha you're funny

  • I was in the Cafeteria when this shit happened... i remember this like it was yesterday...

  • My High School is checked at least once or twice a year for drugs and weapons ect. but they don't go all out like this. The worst part is they always find lodes of drugs, cigarettes, and other contraband.

  • i totally see my brother in this video. he got 12,000 from this settlement cuz the dog shredded his bookbag and cuz the cop put a LOADED GUN WITH THE SAFETY REMOVED TO HIS FACE.

  • This 'terrorism' seems criminal to me. No sum of money should be enough to cover this.

  • This is sad. and then the kids are sent back to school and told how the police save there likes every day, and then go on to learn about revolutions and the civil rights movement. the system is fucked up.

  • I went to this school

  • I graduated from Stratford in 1994, and this shit was never an issue. What this is is the same type of Gestapo shit the Nazis pulled in the 1930s

  • thats messed up.. damn ill be going there next year..

  • wow thats crazy damn how come the police act like gangstas , we are worried about the people on the street with guns ..... i think we should worry about the guys with guns that think they have a right to do what they want peace and legalize

  • I'm almost convinced that the cops are the real drug dealers in my town.

  • ill tell you man i lived in NYC for 23 yrs and i always had a feeling that stuff like this goes down .... its just sickening this stuff has to be seen by everyone. Oh and when u got some spare time watch the documentary " HIGH - The True Tale of American Marijuana "

  • "The Union" and "In Pot We Trust" are the 2 documentaries I prefer. Also, the judge jim grey talking in the 3 part segments starting with "in harms way" is here on youtube and I loved it.

  • damn thats so fuckin fucked up its not even funny...dat shit looks like a prison check or sumthin

  • what messed up is they didn't even find so much as a cigarette! There were no contraband items found except I head a small 3 inch swiss army knife! I had a friend at the school and he got 5,000$ dollars for the settlement against the goose creek city department.

  • Paranoid schitzo government at work in that video, all over a harmless plant. Prohibition sucks and I hope Anslinger is burning in hell for what he started.

  • I agree. I find it ironic that people believe the marijuana prohibition protects the children.

  • very well said
