I rock the shit out of every Dark Magician card including DMG DMOC when its not limited and Magician of Black Chaos. I have yet to find somebody who can beat it without getting help from me making their decks better!
How rare is a SDY Dark Magician today? Because I lost mine 4 years ago,the SDY version was my favorite version of the card with the 2nd being the stone tablet one.
With a bit of luck, you can achieve a virtually complete lockdown using a dark Magician Deck.
If you play 'Secret Village of the Spellcasters', you've prevented them from using spell cards against you.
If you manage to get out a 'Magician's Valkyria' and a 'Miracle Flipper', your opponent is unable to attack anything (due to the combination of their effects).
If you also manage to summon a 'Sorcerer of Dark Magic', you also prevent them from using traps.
I decided against 'Thousand Knives' in my Dark Magician deck, as while you should pretty much always have a Dark Magician out on the field, it's very specific and isn't all that powerful.

also montage dragon never really hurts if you feel like you have too many high level monsters in your deck. he could easily turn into a 6300 beat stick if you use all 3 black magicians or his many other variant forms like dmk, warlock, and even maybe mirage knight if you feel like running him.
for your drawing issue you could use card trader and veil of darkness which is what i use ... it works fairly well at running through the deck to get what i want and since the cards in the hand is more or less dead weight there is no lost even if you throw black magician (I prefer his japanese name) to the grave with veil there are so many cards that revive him like birthright, swing of memory or miracle restoring which I use in combination with magical exemplar.
i think dark flare knight will be nice coz u need to get out flame swordman right? ang if u have extra instant fusion, u can summon flameswordman and use e-tele so u can synchro for dark strike, and burn with Warlock, and use dark strike for game XD
i think running 3 warlocks and add some table toon of contents so u can give loads of burn and u can bring out warlock with prizma XD and when i send u the cards that i want u to sign, i might send u another Ultra OCG Dimmension Magic XD and thx for the shoutout XD
Maybe adding Swing of Memories in for bringing back Dark Magician back for summoning Dark Eradicator Warlock and for Dark Magic Attack and other cards.

@Murgftw I disagree. I prefer the red one used by Arkana. I have one but it's Japanese. It didn't come out in english unfortunately.

also montage dragon never really hurts if you feel like you have too many high level monsters in your deck. he could easily turn into a 6300 beat stick if you use all 3 black magicians or his many other variant forms like dmk, warlock, and even maybe mirage knight if you feel like running him.

for your drawing issue you could use card trader and veil of darkness which is what i use ... it works fairly well at running through the deck to get what i want and since the cards in the hand is more or less dead weight there is no lost even if you throw black magician (I prefer his japanese name) to the grave with veil there are so many cards that revive him like birthright, swing of memory or miracle restoring which I use in combination with magical exemplar.

i think dark flare knight will be nice coz u need to get out flame swordman right? ang if u have extra instant fusion, u can summon flameswordman and use e-tele so u can synchro for dark strike, and burn with Warlock, and use dark strike for game XD

i think running 3 warlocks and add some table toon of contents so u can give loads of burn and u can bring out warlock with prizma XD and when i send u the cards that i want u to sign, i might send u another Ultra OCG Dimmension Magic XD and thx for the shoutout XD
