i meant "routine" as opposed to doing the same things all the time... anyways this profession is very much needed with the baby boomers now heading towards "old" town. Also, it's less about dispensing drugs (since we have technicians do all that), and more about talking one on one with patients and making sure they are better at the end of the day. You'll see many of them regularly and see them grow. You'll have like one of the best groups to hang out with like with APhA.
You'll be a very distinguished professional, who can relocate and do any healthcare setting to your liking like clinical, hospital, community, nursing homes, etc. Also for females, you are more likely to have better hours to create a future and stable family life. If you are the kind of person who likes organization and like doing the same things all the time. Also you are very good in science esp chemistry and also economics.
LOL the one reason why pharmacy schools will not be impressed about or look down upon, when you mention the money ... you can money doing other things, why pharmacy? because you want to help people by being an available and trustworthy medication consultant who is basically unbiased and has access to healthcare providers, physicians, and knows a lot about business.
@spicymeatsandwich Hey if they are doing fun then what you guys are doing in US??? ....think what if all of the professionals other than your natives leave the US then your economy will fall down rapidly.....so do research first and then say anything over here !!! ...
You're trying to say that others, lets say doctors, are getting in medicine *purely* to help people, don't be funny, they've got the highest income, how come its ok if they go for money and not ok for other people. are they unprofessional and shameful too? Its ok to go for both in any profession :)
