this wii shop channel doesn't have the wii channels selection because in 2006 maybe the people at the wii company didn't put out some channels to get so in 2009 which is now there's a lot of channels to get!!!!

when i click on wii shop channel it says ( an internet connection is required ). and i click on enter settings, but it then says ( restricted by parental controls ) and i need a 4 digit pin!!! can some 1 tell me why it does that?

Someone's put some parental controls restrictions on your wii. Try asking who you think might have put them on. If no one has put them on and it came like that when you bought the wii then I dont no whats wrong.

While its a great feature I think its a little brutal to charge people for games they have already bought before simply because your system isn't backwards compatible like every other system on the market.

it should come up pretty quick...sounds like your internet connection is having trouble. Did you test the connection in the options?
