My hair is a little longer than yours, but it's really layered. It won't hold a typical braid like that. But it will hold an inverted French braid. It's a pretty identical look except my braid goes a little further down the nape of the neck. So yeah, thanks for reminding me of this look, it's supercute!

@Zoe9112001 You could try french braiding up to the top of your head instead of just regular braiding. That way, the braid is held down by hair. (btw, if you don't know how to french braid, look it up)

I'm so happy you put this up! When I was a little girl my godmother used to braid my hair like this, in a "crown", pinning daisies and wildflowers in through the whole braid. I'd feel so pretty for the whole day! She'd always say she'd fix my hair like that for my future wedding, but she passed away when I was ten. This video is a sweet reminder of those days, and you've even showed me how to the crown on my own hair.

how do you keep the back bottom parts from "poofing" out too much? i have a hard time keeping the hairstyle secure enough on my head to prevent the bottom from frizzing out.

Are you pulling very tauntly? You might what you try using a little product, or even putting in bobby-pins AS you braid... With the way I pull up on the braids, it prevents the start of the braid from puckering too much... Try those things, I hope it will help :)
