I like going to watch a movie, it's much more fun cause some of the audiences' reactions are HILARIOUS =P

Like when i watched get smart when it came out everyone was like =O OMG!! When the dude kissed the dude. I laughed SO HARD =P

Depends on the movie, if it seems like it would be better on the big screen or if there's someone else to go with then I'll see it in theaters.

Plus its hard to stay away from that movie theater popcorn. ;)

Good luck to your Dad. I had a hip replacement 16 years ago. I am probably older than your Dad. I was on my feet the next day and haven't had any trouble. The KEY and most important thing is to let it heal really well before you start back doing "regular" things. Mine was 6 weeks off my hip just doing the exercises.(this part is tough if you are an active person but SO IMPORTANT) After that, 6 Weeks on a walker, than 6 weeks on a cane. Pain pills makes him think he is able to do, SO WATCH HIM.
