  • sounds like the presidents re-election theme

  • "My advice for those who die: TAXMANNNN!"

  • LOL i love both the "ah oh mr wilson" and "anybody got a bit of money"....

  • not rare

  • needs more cowbell

  • @magneticjesus mono version

  • Best version Beatles recorded. This is a great song

  • @zeromant80 si,toda la canción esta bien y los coros cambiados ya los conocia y me gustan, solo me mosqueaba ese toque de guitarra tan soso y feo.Igual Harrison entró al estudio ese dia muy ciego.

  • The guitar solo is THE same one at the end of the master as the one in the middle ; it is edited onto the end and faded out

  • I think I like this ending better, although I like the Wilson part better- stick it to the gov't, I always say:-) In "George Harrison Live in Japan", they used Reagan and Bush, I believe.

I think the Beatles were the first group I ever heard that actually used lyrics for back-up, not just oooh's and aahhh's, even though they did those, too.

  • these pictures are great

  • tax

    remarkable talent

    talis

    remarkable music writing

  • Once my drummer said the beatles were 4 singing panzies singing about love and bascially were pretty shit. After that Well..Lets just say im not in the band anymore haha.

  • @ninjamage93 Good choice to leave such a band!

  • I LOVE THIS VERSION OF TAXMAN they should put this version of TAXMAN ON THE LOVE ALBUM AND ON THE BEATLES: ROCK-BAND

  • cool

  • i like the lead guitar added when georege used the fender stratocaster

  • I prefer "Anybody got a bit o money" more than "Ah ah Mr wilson"

  • "Anybody got a bit of money? Anybody got a bit of money? Anybody got a bit of money?" bahahahaha xD <3

  • Am I the only one who finds it astounding that the solo was repeated FLAWLESSLY in this version as well as the final cut?

  • Okay in the pic at 1:55, does it go, clockwise: John, Paul, George, Ringo? Or is it vice versa with Paul and George??

  • @jayfeatherjunkie Clockwise its John, Paul, Ringo, George. George is under John and Ringo is under Paul.

  • "Dont ask me what I want it for..." "ANYBODYGOTABITOFMONEYANYBODYGOTABITOFMONEYANYBODYGOTABITOFMONEY???"

  • I also was ready for the Wilson/Heath, everything else had sounded the same up to that point and this actually startled me. Then it made me laugh. I like the Wilson/Heath better, too, much cooler.

  • Wilson & Heath were the ruling guys in England in the mid 1960's

  • Those vocals!!

  • Did you know that the lead guitar on this tune was Played by Paul?

  • man that's awesome !!!

  • weres mister wilson?

  • @TheChickenFuneral He was the prime minister of England at that time. He's probably dead and gone by now.

  • I'm Obama, The Taxman! Yes We Can't!

  • @MilkyLicker3587 check your records you paid less under Obama than bush......

  • i was all ready for "AH AH MISTER WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILSON!" then i was like "Oh!"

  • @JoeMamaNewAccount Me too!!! Hahahahaha

  • I like the version that went on the album, but this is good to hear. Thanks!

  • I like the final take better, but it would bin all right if thats what was on the album, still kinda weird

  • @3storyfallshurt Its the SAME take but i know what you mean ; this is the take that is featured on REVOLVER but some of the vocal bits are mixed out and replaced by the ones we know best and the same guitar solo in the middle is edited on to the end and faded out, replacing this 'dead abrupt' ending

  • George wrote this when Britain had a tax of 95% on the highest earners. I think taxes are too low now, but I can see his point at this point in history.

  • Hahahah, Anybody got a bit o money?

Glad that part isn't in the final take, couldn't stop laughing. Though I like the non fade out, just like it is in the Rock Band version.

  • @TDCstudios hahahahahahah same here

  • @TDCstudios Same here.

It's an interesting change. Sad that it failed - because I'm so used to the "Mr. Wilson" and "Mr. Heath" callbacks.

  • @TDCstudios fuck rockband

  • @jilleoi ...what's wrong with Rock Band?

  • Such incredible talent and musical skills - George really says it all with this commentary on the taxes that we all pay...

  • wow
