@zeromant80 si,toda la canción esta bien y los coros cambiados ya los conocia y me gustan, solo me mosqueaba ese toque de guitarra tan soso y feo.Igual Harrison entró al estudio ese dia muy ciego.
I think I like this ending better, although I like the Wilson part better- stick it to the gov't, I always say:-) In "George Harrison Live in Japan", they used Reagan and Bush, I believe.
I think the Beatles were the first group I ever heard that actually used lyrics for back-up, not just oooh's and aahhh's, even though they did those, too.
Once my drummer said the beatles were 4 singing panzies singing about love and bascially were pretty shit. After that Well..Lets just say im not in the band anymore haha.
I also was ready for the Wilson/Heath, everything else had sounded the same up to that point and this actually startled me. Then it made me laugh. I like the Wilson/Heath better, too, much cooler.
@3storyfallshurt Its the SAME take but i know what you mean ; this is the take that is featured on REVOLVER but some of the vocal bits are mixed out and replaced by the ones we know best and the same guitar solo in the middle is edited on to the end and faded out, replacing this 'dead abrupt' ending
George wrote this when Britain had a tax of 95% on the highest earners. I think taxes are too low now, but I can see his point at this point in history.
sounds like the presidents re-election theme

The guitar solo is THE same one at the end of the master as the one in the middle ; it is edited onto the end and faded out

Am I the only one who finds it astounding that the solo was repeated FLAWLESSLY in this version as well as the final cut?

Okay in the pic at 1:55, does it go, clockwise: John, Paul, George, Ringo? Or is it vice versa with Paul and George??
jayfeatherjunkie 10 months ago
@jayfeatherjunkie Clockwise its John, Paul, Ringo, George. George is under John and Ringo is under Paul.

Glad that part isn't in the final take, couldn't stop laughing. Though I like the non fade out, just like it is in the Rock Band version.

It's an interesting change. Sad that it failed - because I'm so used to the "Mr. Wilson" and "Mr. Heath" callbacks.
