I don't know if they changed the plugin and added the mission after defending Culuria, but that one is at least as hard or even harder, since you have to fight in the alien's home system, without Culuria's defense. I think the easiest way in this game to kill anybody is to capture as many Polaris Ravens or Scarabs, or Arachnids if you can't find Ravens or Scarabs, then use those to attack rather than attacking yourself. A trick to disabling Polaris ships is to not target them when you fire.
Confeds? There are no Confeds in the Arpia plugin. The only Confed faction that exists in either Escape Velocity games is the Escape Velocity Classic which is the first one, and the ported version of that for Nova.
@Coraxuss no there's a Federation ( confed is what the rebels call them) in the game. It holds one of the 7 crucial story lines LOL. Besides i fiured out why I cant capture ships, i didnt register the game

If you are Polaris and you target your escorts that is how you can disable ravens and use em as escorts. My main game is a Heavy weapons platform Pirate Carrier Polaris style with 12 mants, 6 raven escorts and a simply rediculous amount of lasers/laser turrets.
There's also the fact that Ravens seem to have a sort of blind spot when they have inertialess drives. I've one time flown close within its blindspot causing the Raven to run in circles like a dog chasing his own tail :D
the class 4 starbridge owns the class 4 valkyrie but the starbridge is a dumb ass. it seems. since he have no rail guns. he shoot a torpedo and go run at its target while going a little faster then its torpedo. then boom both scrap their sheild.
im like."WTF moron who would be enough stupid to fallow a nuclear torpedo. damn retard." let it blow then rush at him. but shoot another one. well i cant tell him how to play. so if i just select balst dont hurt. he is safe.
im wondering why this game is broken at some place. ok you can do some program u know. making new plugs. i have a fleet of 6 hvy weapon platform carrier and it sucks. why?
not because of fire power XD. because they shoot so many nuclear torpedos and spin around target like mad flys. they end up killing themselves. if i order them to attack u will see like a machine gun of torpedo. like 25 torpedos. i hate that weapon. cause it fuking blast can hurt you.
Hmm, it's been awhile since I played Arpia2. If I can remember, I think I used my escorts for the job, especially if they were all Pirate Valkyrie Class: IV.

Pretty neat, that looks like a more efficient way to do it.
I used all my Pirate Valkyrie Class IV ships to fire at them while I was running away.
