  • i gotta admit that was impressive

  • Soryuken is the most faggot-ish move ever. Counters almost every attack and does serious damage. And many characters can do it. That's why this game sucks.

  • @RoadKamelot2nd Learn to play; the fucking move is not even invincible anymore on the way up.

  • @RoadKamelot2nd You got that right! Combined with multiple hadouken spam, that hits even in block, and is executable from any distance and conditions, this will make a " great " player with excellent " skills, tactics and techniques, expertise " like Daigo and most douche-bag spammers. It is far more difficult to master a difficult character like Rufus, and not to mention Iyo`s Dhalsim or Shiro`s Abel...Too bad there are too many n00bs out there that praise spammers " for the win "...

  • @FIxt00l Glad that you agree. However, its not the players I directed my comment against, its the game developers who didn't balance the characters well. Not saying that there is a prefectly ballanced fighting game, but SF has really bad mis-matches. Especially SF 4 gives too much credit to ANY character with a projectile. My main in 3rd strike was Makoto. Now that she's been nerfed I quit the series.

  • @RoadKamelot2nd Trust me pick up AE, shes 4th best now, they nerfed all projectile characters

  • @KobraKrimson 'Bout time they did. If it comes out for PC, I might... but after playing exclusively Guilty Gear for a few years I anticipate a hard time to get used to SF again. Jam Kuradoberi might be mu favorite now, but I will never forget Makoto.

  • nice Fight...

  • Man stfu about this Diego guy. Are you guys proof reading what you say, you're worshipping a mortal man. He's not the best fighter out there so stfu already.

  • @skellta

    oh rly? who is better?

  • @AssAndTitties510 Thats the point of tekken juggling putting and mixing combos together. Streetfighter can be button mashing to but the same combos over and over again. But sum times it isnt all people need is hadokuen and shuryuken which is like a brick wall for some reason. Street fighter is just a very unbalance game to me how some characters going to have a fire ball move high stun move fast strong and great reach Chun li is one of the over powerd characters to me n this compare to Dalism

  • @shadowninja202 the only character with a overpowered fireball is guile and his bullshit instant recovery sonic booms all others you can punish on reaction with virtually every character in one way or another

  • kool and all but i still say tekken and mortal kombat take more skill then street fighter sense fireballs can easily be side stepped

  • Holy hell...Dont piss Diago off.

  • Why. Won't. He. DIE.

  • Daigo makes you think you have a chance, and then he crushes your dreams painfully.

  • DAMN !!! Am I wrong or did Daigo (Ryu) lost on purpose the 2 first rounds just to show off his true skill after?

  • @Jayn0o Daigo hold himself back to study his enemy.

Look at the first 2 Rounds. Daigo turtles himself and only strikes if he knows that kindevu can't do anything and then turn back to defend.

The last 2 rounds, Daigo knows what to do and punches his opponent bruce-lee-like in his face.

  • Daigo>>>>>>>>>>>>>>All

  • Unleash the Beast

  • you can only do crossup's like that on fat opponents

  • Daigo + Ryu = win

  • I didnt know Ryu can cross up with a j HP. Is that only possible @ Arcade?

  • @heitschibumbeitschi no not only @ arcade. but its strict timing

  • Kindevu rufus is way better than justins. so because daigo bodies a higher level rufus. why do you think he beats justins rufus so bad?

  • lol. daigo is so evil XD he doesnt seem to play serious so he can analyze his opponent. then he steps it up and kills their joy of almost beating him.

  • I love how after just 2 rounds, Daigo pretty much memorized Kind's patterns.

  • Fucking Fat!! lol

  • no one would beat daigo 3 time in a roll

  • @corrage61 In a roll?

  • @LastRitesPro 1, punch u self in the noise

2, punch ur self in the noise harder

3, punch ur self in the noise harder

4, run in the wall for 10 times

5, look at ur noise in the mirror

  • Justin Wong should watch these vids too

  • on a scale 1-10 (10 meaning he tried hardest), i'd say about a 4-5. I've seen him put an 8-10 in other matches..

  • Truth is this is all speculation, it was a helluva comeback at any rate.

  • @ShenOmega

yes u can tell the first 2 rounds are his "learning round" he is very defencive, he has a few oppurtunities to get out of the corner and pwn some, but he stays and learns what he does. e.g in the 3rd round, rufus tries to roll kick, ryu quickly counters witha throw and uses shyrukens to counter rufus' jumpdown kick. great match, but bit sad cuz, seeing diago play many times, i could tell he was just playing with him a bit =X.

  • lol rufus is completely the embodiment of America. xD

  • @massimas7 Psh, na most Americans look like Guile. That obesity/weight problem thing is just propaganda!

  • i think the rufus player face was like this:

    :D :) :| :( :(]

  • 3:23 nice combo

  • It's not that Daigo adapted to Kindevu fighting style. This is 5 round game and Daigo even say it himself that sf4 is fun for him. He wants to make this game as long as possible. Therefore losing on purpose for the first 2 around and then finishing it them off. Any pro would probably do that, seen it all the time. However that doesn't mean daigo didn't adapt, I'm pretty sure he probably did, like any other human being.

  • @ShenOmega he also biult up a lot of ex...

  • @ShenOmega shut the fuck up

  • @mviejo1 Fuck you stupid mexican

  • @ShenOmega Lol Diago fanboy? Diago definitely isn't good enough to sandbag two rounds against Kindevu, not trying at all, and comeback all of a sudden. Kindevu is a beast, and Diago knows that. He definitely adapted to Kindevu's style, and punished. Thats why I don't like 5 rounders, these give turtle chars more time to adapt and punish than normal.

  • @daddyshere1

Oh please. If you even knew |Daigo's playstyle well, you'd know he was playing in the first two rounds.

  • @Damarasz Seems like you dont know Diago. He's an adapt and punish player, just like most Ryu's, and most turtles period. Thats how SF works. Kindevu's using Rufus, an offense oriented character. His job is to make Diago guess wrong and punish. Diagos job is to guess Kindevu right and punish, so he waits to see trends in his fighting to predict what hell do next

  • @ShenOmega daigo aint human XD...well his face expressions arent anyways

  • Wow that cross up at 1:59 was godly.

  • lol... kindevu panicked...

  • Daigo ate him up as soon as he figured him out.

  • Daigo's a real Comeback-Kid.

  • Made Kindevu look like a noob with those EX Messiahs at the end haha

  • That rufus is a bitch and deserved to be fucking punished! That amde me sick to know a bitch liek that was in a tourney, Diago gave em what it deserved.

  • Doesn't take long for Daigo to learn the other guys tactics. Good comeback.

  • Diago hacks, theres no way a human can be THAT good at street fighter.

  • faceless void

  • @passionkev01 sholuken? u mean shoryuken

  • Wow great comeback from daigo

  • That last match just goes to show how intuitive a top level player can be with their wake-up game. That entire last fight was won based on Daigo guessing right and Kindevu going for what works most often but is most predictable.

  • yeah i realize most rufus players tend to ex messiah. a lot =/

  • Even if Daigo loses a round or two, he will screw you backwards right after

  • Daigo is a fucking alien. dude is not from this planet. the guy using Rufus was playing like a little girl...

  • play me i dare you BuddhasBud xbla

  • Damn! Talk about gettin pissed and makin a dominating come back. Good stuff Daigo

  • lol no its not, easy as fuck.

  • easy?^^ do it without a jumping from your oppenent, and i wanna see (:

  • Do you even play streetfighter? Its so fucking easy, all you need to do is do the uppercut, after about 1 second just mash the stick arc forwards + lp. Its ridiculus.

  • it'S ok, you dont understand me..

  • andollio1337 knows exactly what you're talking about, he's just better than you.

  • thats cause u play ur grandma

  • yeah I agree, I was like "wtf is this dude talking about it's hard.."

  • It is sooo easy, seriously. Learn to play a decent Ryu n00bzzz

  • your a real dumbass arn't you

  • So is your face.

  • well it aint that bad because you have time to react when ;you see the shoryuken connect

  • Rufus is annoying..

  • Daigo is a sick man!!! (by positive meaning)

  • you fucked up on your lingo bro

  • sry bout that mah boi

  • Once you take away an aggressive players offense, they're playing your game now.

  • yeah diago let's people take rounds tell you the buffer of skill he really at !? pretty sick

  • Oh jesus, Ryu jump fierce = ambiguous crossup? I'm scared...

  • that rufus player thought he was winning, til daigo switch to serious ass whooping mode

  • @touyang06 hrhr :D

  • @touyang06 lol So true although Kindevu is an excellent Rufus player. Daigo got him nasty!

  • @touyang06

Normally when people think they are going to "actually beat DAIGO YAY" they get reckless and Daigo

    1. Knows they just might get reckless and lose concentration

    2. Step it up a bit and show them how its done

  • @crazyrj14 but in this case if it would have been a normal fight the way most people play... who wins two out of three rounds... this Daigo asshole would have lost.

  • @689433

why you calling the man an asshole? XD

  • @crazyrj14 Because 689433 is a jealous fag who couldn't beat Daigo if his pathetic life depended on it. Haters like him are always losing.

  • @JTcombomode

Haters have hate in their hearts. And hatred always loses....ALWAYS!

    So yes i agree XD

  • @crazyrj14 haters wanna hate, lovers wanna love. daigo dont even want, none of the above, he wanna piss on you.. drip drip drip pee on yoooou

  • @touyang06 If it had been a normal duel (best of 3) Rufus had won for much.

  • @touyang06 He hadn't absorbed enough pwnage-chakra until it was 0 and 2.

  • @HotaruZoku ROFL its pretty amazing how true it is that's what makes it so funny, it really is like he is absorbing some kind of ass kicking energy by losing first.

  • @touyang06 Pretty much. I'd say 80% of the time Daigo loses the first round (round 1+2 in best of 5), but more often than not wins the next two rounds.

What's impressive about that is, in getting whooped that single round, he pretty much learns his opponent in such a short amount of time.

  • This was really excellent play on Daigo's part - I really appreciate how patient he can be. First couple of rounds just got killed, but was learning - switched up styles to aggressive and game over - super impressive as always

  • good lord, hell of a comeback.

  • yeah wow

  • This is what happens when one's not good enough to adujst his play. Daigo sure can !!!

  • Daigo turned the tide.

  • I'm glad Daigo realized his opponent doesn't like to block too much, as with a lot of Rufus users. Put him on the defensive and make him counter.

  • BEAST MODE ON!

  • daigo is NUTS!

  • Even Though the Rufus won the first two matches, I JUST KNEW SOMEHOW Daigo was still gonna win. By the time Rufus won his second match, I wasn't thinking, "Oh no! Daigo is gonna lose". I was thinking "I wonder how hes going to make his comeback"

  • dope vid

  • damn rufus was doing well in the beginning and thought he would win but daigo just came back and that last round was awesome!

  • Beast.

  • I hate Rufus. They gave him Yun's divekick and sideways command kick when they should have just put Yun in there instead of him. Can you imagine what Yun's Ultra would look like? Much cooler than Rufus' that's for sure.

  • Lol gay kid sucks dick. And he's 10. Epic fail.

  • ugh so disturbing

  • le SACO LA PUTA !!! jajajajaja daigo rulz

  • this rufus really enjoyed himself in the first two rounds until the game really started..

  • "the answer lies in the heart of battle"

heart of battle is the "opening" or "window"

    in the player strategy

  • So...thats why I whooped your ass so many times online right produner1? XD!

  • am not a good player besides when i use the raging demon (shin shun goku satsu) you jump like monkey XD!

  • XD~!

  • OMG can't believe Daigo won 3 straight rounds after being 0-2.

  • clearly the noob didnt watch the whole video

  • What Daigo does it watch how the other player uses their character. once he finds out their strategy he comes back with his own technique and overpowers them.

  • I started to see that myself too. He'll sacrifice a round or 2 if need be to learn, and more than likely beat the crap out of, his opponent.

  • Sometimes I dont think it's even to learn their patterns but just to put himself in difficult spots.. I think he enjoys having to really fight to win..

  • A newbie? lmao he'll rock ANYONE - especially losers who hate on him. Shit 6 -7 hit combo's and he's a newbie? shit I wonder what you would call a pro at sf4 lol. Daigo is the greatest - sick ass comeback from 2-0

  • I noticed daigo uses hado at the end of his strings when he feels comfortable playing close to certain characters. On this rufus though he always ended his strings with a tatsumaki to push his opponent away from him and then start his rampage once again.

  • ...what match are you watching? Daigo came back after loosing 2 matches straight, i call that comeback.

  • That was a comeback, he dominated that last 2 rounds.

  • right into his balls! 2:48

  • LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • i never beleived in god until i seen diago play...

  • Rufus is quite possibly the ugliest piece of shit ever created by man

  • Rufus is a boss.

  • Lol, thanks for the laugh!

  • Christ, by reading most of these comments, you'd think there's some sort of Daigo fanclub where whoever wildly masturbates over him the most wins a prize.

  • rofl

  • I honestly do not believe Daigo gave Kin a chance. He might've just switched to a different style and found it ineffective.

  • If we're going by how well people can pull off combos=skill, then Poongko should be best in the world right now.

Daigo didn't win because he used a "precise timing hard trial combo". He won because he was patient, punished mistakes smartly, knew his matchup well, and kicked some very nice ass as a result.

  • From what some people have been saying, they suggest Daigo fights in 'regular way' to know how his opponent reacts to specific situations, and tries to notice where the openings are, and how to execute counters to them. In other words, he analyzes his opponent. That's could be the reason why he is able to pull those matches so well after losing a few times. This isn't my theory, but from watching his matches, that would appear to be the case.

  • He's very calculating, you can tell he's studying his opponents very carefully. 2 factors play into why he's so successful

    1. Adapt, he is very good at adapting to any situation good or bad.

    2. He's very quick with his moves. Very rarely does he miss an opportunity to hit his opponents multiple times..he really is dangerous,

  • I think the same.

  • he is not paying he is just good

  • ya ur right

  • nah diago always does some crazy shit like that. and the other guys get more money to win. and besides it just took diago two rounds to get used to how that rufus charecter plays against him.

  • transitoner thats the funniest comment i ever saw on youtube daigo paying people to win? in the middle of a match? lmao haha

  • i think thats Poongkyo rather than daigo i could be wrong

  • That is the worst beat down I had ever seen.

  • hes fucking brilliant, you can just tell that he is in 100% control his movements are so cordinated

  • It's scary how he analyses people for the first one or two rounds then obliterates them.

  • hooo...! my god....

  • unreal corner pressure from daigo. this is as legit as rape gets.

  • i wonder. is daigo on the PSN or the 360 live? i wanna see these japanese players (specifically daigo) against america's finest: valle, wong, killian, DSP, etc. and speaking of DSP, has anyone ever thought about what his reaction might be when he finds daigo's name in either networks? that oughta be interesting.

  • look at the date it was posted,im sure Daigo's play style has changed since then

  • stfu it is him lolz

  • Wow... I didn't think it was Daigo either.. until I saw the later rounds, then it was definitely him. Dunno why he played weird in the beginning though...

  • he played really defensive. againts rufus you have to be the agresser... because that kick he has in the air, and all those combos are a little to much. Rufus anti air moves are weak so you can really go on the attack againts a rufus...

I got to learn how to cross up rufus with the high punch, looks way better than with the kick lol

  • he's feeling his opponent out.

  • It definitely didn't look like him, seeing as how I've seen that video of him dominating Justin Wong's Rufus... shoryuken against almost every dive kick. Like the other guy said though, his play style might've changed or something. Not sure if this accounts for anything, but you can read his name in the video (Umehara) in Japanese.

  • This is Daigo, and it does say Umehara in katakana.

  • this match took place in December. diago whooped justins ass fairly recently. he must have improved between this game and that game

  • I bet that brought up a lot of repressed memories of Yun's dive kick from Daigo.

  • Daigo is so smart it's ridiculous.

  • Rufus is mad annoying.

  • after daigo figures you out, then things get pretty bad

  • talk about false hope for kindevu.. i bet he nearly wet himself with excitement too

  • How did Daigo win that?
