Im not sure about Bonecrusher but Sideways is a clone of barricade as Grindor is a clone of Blackout so i guess you can say that they were in this movie, only it wasn't the originals =)

Bonecrusher is in the film believe it or not. He literally just shows up out of nowhere. His alternate form is seen right after the protoforms arrived in Egypt. His robot form is seen very briefly firing a shot before getting taken down. Doesn't make sence, huh? There were a'lot of things near the end of the movie that didn't make sence. As for Barricade, he isn't dead. He is shown in the Transformer Alliance comics which are canon and a prequel to Revenge Of The Fallen.

The main reason for so many "clones" is because it's much easier and less costly to just recycle old parts and designs from previous characters rather than completely designing an entirely new character. That's why Sideways looks so much like Barricade and why there were several Constructicons running around even after Devastator had been formed. As for Blackout, don't go by what the toys say. The comics and novelization for the film never ever specify what his name is or if he even has a name.

What are you talking about??? It was never explained if Blackout was Grindor or not (don't go by the toys), and Barricade wasn't in the sequel. Maybe in the past 8 months of hunting Decepticons by N.E.S.T. he got destroyed (I hope that's not the case).

Barricade is shown in the Transformers Alliance comic book relaying a signal to Starscream, Soundwave, and any other Decepticons. Alliance is a prequel to RotF so obviously Barricade wasn't killed by Prime as stated in the official novelization. Ya know something? This whole silly mis-information campaign from Michael Bay was so damn stupid. Most of the really cool and awesome information ended up being false. (Ex. Leonard Nimoy as Galvatron, Susan Blu as Arcee, Barricade, Peter Cullen cameo..)

Saw it already (Tuesday @ Midnight SNEEK PEEK). He was there but just as a driving vehicle, no transformation. But then again as DEVASTATOR already merged, after you still saw some of the Constructicons in battle. Mixmaster, Longhaul; Scrapper; Rampage. Plus Demolisher got killed, but Scavenger was there and didn't transform, just merged everyone onto him with big-ass coils!

Yeah. And we did see Bonecrusher in his robot form during the fight. You just gotta keep an eye out for him. It absolutely bugged me that even though the Constructicons had already merged into Devastator, individual Constructicons were still running around.

I know, they should have had all 7 Constructions running around, then form Devastator because they were losing or when they merged show other kinds of Decepticons fighting along side off The Fallen, Megatron, Starscream, and Ravage.
