obviously they have safety mechanism for if anything gets caught, the machine will correct itself. engineers aren't retarded when they design something like this.

I work on elevators in America. I can't figure out any type of safety on this. I think it's just the common sense approach. Other countries aren't as sue happy as America

there is a wire at the ceiling so if a limb gets caught between it will hit the wire and stop the whole system

use sensors if has something in the dangerous area (go down = top; if go up = bellow). The elevator shutdown.

yep, it's totally safe. you don't get out when it reaches the top or bottom floor, it just turns the other way around.

No, because when you go below the bottom floor, you end up getting sucked into a void, nver to be heard of again. If you go above the top floor, you get eaten alive by millions of bugs with razor sharp teeth.
