Tidus is the persona of a 1000 year man name shuyin that die in the war of zanarkand and bevelle, frustated that he can protect the one he loves he hated the world. Yevon summon a Dream world taking all it citizen there with new identity thus tidus was born along with all the people who live there but this DREAM PEOPLE once they were real before the war and before yevon make his summoning word.

the story actually is moved 1000 years. tidus was in dream zanarkand and then moved to spira though sin. some of the info u have is wrong but it doesnt matter. what happens in X-2 is *SPOILER ALERT*

the guy is Shuyin who resembles tidus and was in the REAL zanarkand 1000 years before the story takes place when zanarkand and spira were in war. its hinted that tidus was dreamed to resemble shuyin. and shuyin was still "alive" cause he's a unsent. like auron and seymour.

Did you even pay attention to it? The twist was that the main character had nothing to do with the story. What part of the decimation and a bitter fight to restore a lost kingdom was boring? Not to mention the themes of despair and hope, treachery, greed, power, family bonds, and hatred. None of those are interesting at all. But I suppose if it's not mostly a love story, it immediately sucks nowadays.

{For my previous post} I did like 12 and the storyline it was unique and had it own appeal.Just sometimes the typical love story makes a good portal to pull ya in. To truely fight for whats right against titans like sephiroth.Character Depth usually makes good RPG's compared to a run and gun game that simplcity is more enjoyable. Rpgs are stories after all and the more depth a toon has the more reason ya see for them to win at all cost Heh..at least that my theory..dying to get KH3 and all FF13s

I thought a bit about FFXII while watching this. And what i thought about was :

What the hell happened with XII -.-? What happened to the depth that square always puts in it's characters? What happened to the nice little love stories they put behind the FFs? Going from this game to XII was like WTF am i playing? I bought a dam Final Fantasy!!

FFXII was quite a downer yes, but the love feel was in some ways there if you look into the mind of Ashe, she had been together with the Prince who had died and the love in that had been that she was still remembering him aka the shards such as the dawn shards, however the love content wasn't there as much as in games such as FFX, but while FFXII was a bit of a let down it still isn't that bad a game certain parts where good, though others wheren't. Hopefully however FFXIII will be better.

umm they dont actually travel into the future, they just leave dream zanarkand, everything in the zanarkand that was introduced in the beginning was dream zanarkand. That is why tidus disappeared at the end of the game, b/c he was part of the dream zanarkand that was created by Yevon in the past during the war between two groups of people in spira.

yes that can be very hard. The throw the controller on the grond kinda hard. But only some of them are, like I thought that FF X was pretty easy, except for the end. FF 7 is hard though.

did you know the continue of ffx2 in basically a fake. The guy that made ffx2 is a different guy than the one from ffx. So at the end of ffx when you see tidus awake and swim is the ending. you know what is going to happen when tidus swim.
