gotta admire the bands bravery for trying out new, subtle as they may be, but new and more contemorary styles of playing. with the strathspeys: i like the idea of modernising strathspeys myself, dunno how the judging panel, average age 87, would feel about it mind u! better tone and this could be qualifiying material. not so keen on the drumming mind you.

It's a pity they only just missed out on qualifying at the Worlds. They're certainly a much improved band, hopefully they'll be back in the Final next year.
