Nobody is sure, but many people believe that the Unicorn Fountain was where Link went to obtain the Sword Beam, another scrapped idea. The fact that so little was mentioned by anyone involved with Ocarina of Time pre-release and that they barely existed outside of a few screenshots give more weight to the theory.

@bored2def1 thats true, but i have a feeling that since this game is not a port but a remastered version, they had plenty of time to add some cool stuff and I feel like adding what was promised in oot 64DD(ura zelda) wouldn't be too much especially for the special 25th zelda anniversary, Nintendo always seeked an opportunity to release that ura but never actually had the time and team involved into it. the gcn port only added master quest which is basically one of many features of ura zelda.

How did you find it? As far as I am informed nobody ever found the unicorn fountain... some said it simply didn't exist in the cartridges.

@ImpmonX - The model for the head lies in the both OOT and MM, go into the shooting gallery in OOT and look up above the door. They reused that same model in the MM shooting gallery as well but added horns to it. In the OOT shooting gallery, it is the ONLY object that doesn't have collision on the whole map, which looks like it was a last minute add probably from what they scrapped, after carefully looking over the shape of the UF, we were able to confirm, it is the same model.

@TheEscapedBalloon - There is left over text that says "Wind Medallion",Some of the temple's wind related puzzles are still left in the game, see Ganon's castle, Forest Barrier. Also Wind Waker makes references of the Wind Temple's sage being "Fado" a kokiri from the forest. As for actual structure/look of the Temple we honestly don't know as there really wasn't any screenshots released. So we are making our own based off other Zelda games.
