@doodfilms This isn't an a capella, this is the original track with beats and sounds on it. I ain't a hater but thats all it is and i think it's been ruined. Portishead are to dope to be raped by dubsteppaz unless the track is completely remixed with a whole new slant. Imho

The fact that the creator went the more subtle route makes the remix more of a tribute to the greatness of the original. As for it being ruined, what's with this irrational hatred for dubstep?  I get tired of it sometimes but just about every genre of music we hear today has roots in another.

@Rynyn What? Its not a remix, its an over-dub. This mix is credited for aspects that are not contributed by the dubstep but by the original. I don't know why you believe i have an an "irrational hate for dubstep", i love dubstep, and i agree all music feeds off eachother. Too many dubstep remixers take great songs, and just add a little wub wub. Portishead already have dubstep ingredients, same tempo and vibe. Its more of an accomplishment to remix a tune with a completely different vibe.

It might be more difficult and it might take more time but in the end all that really matters is whether people like it when they hear it. When I did a search for portishead remixes I wasn't looking for completely new material, I wanted to hear new takes and ideas on music I already love.
