The good thing about this is that this will be given to THE COMMUNITY. People will be able to create there own maps using all theese things. DOTA came from the Warcraft Editor, what will come from the Starcraft? That's the good thing about this. It's not just Valve trying to earn a lot of money, Blizzard in this case instead give the community all the tools to create there own games

I activated one and sold the rest for like 20bucks each, made me some nice money. because every key you activate got 2 more keys to give to friends. I was in the first 5thousand. Blizzard, do do not disturb Valve DotA 2. IceFrog owner of the brand and it makes it. Valve just made best games ever. Make your Starcraft Dota but do not interfere with these guys. I just cant get out of DotA 2, this is a very good game.

Blizzard is stopping Valve from Trademarking DOTA they are in no way trying to claim the trademark for themselves MEANING that Vavle can make DOTA 2 just not Trademark it. And in anycase Icefrog passed Dota over to another guy who balanced it out way better then Icefrog could ever do and made the game "LoL" with the Dota creator before Iceforg so if anyone deserved the trademark its Riot games. (PS: I dont play dota but this is just stupid :/)

@vicrobert Im not much of a DOTA player and its not my type of game the only reason Im in the argument is because Valve is basically trying to copyright all DOTA which would basically mean that it cant be hosted on WC3 ect they should just leave the copyright alone it brings nothing but trouble besides Valve themselves didn't invent DOTA and it has always been something like "Open Source" which is why it evolved so much and became what it is today. Like Linux.

Icefrog is still in development of dota and didn´t pass it over to anyone. The one who made LoL is a guy called guinsoo together with riot games and he was developing dota after eul and before ice. Dota became a good game while icefrog was handling it and since he works with valve now the one company that "deserves" the trademark is valve imo. have your opinion it's cool but don't spout bs around.
