It's amazing how lost most kids are when it comes to the proper names of tricks but it's understandable since most of its coming from their peers or even the magazines who goof it up occasionally. Perhaps I'll write an article or post videos explaining trick names, siting historical origins and give examples, Matt rips!

A bigflip by definition is performed fakie with the body turning 180 landing back in forward stance. a bigspin flip is generated from the back of the board in forward stance with the body going 180 to a fakie landing. Unfortunately the magazines get this one wrong all the time, so its easy to see why theres the confusion. Back in my day Transworld constantly got frontside or backside wrong in the photo captions, throwing off a whole generation.
