  • This is the original LP mix it seems, not like my shit CD version, where did you get it? Please reply.

  • Obv, John loved Roy Orbison :)

  • Tight ass got it made

  • Love this Man all my life, would loved to have met him, don't really like Yoko, hard neck, she should practice what she preaches and start some peace for her step son Julian and give him some Peace !!

  • john lennon has a tight a$ xDDD

  • this album was released in 1980 , isnt it?

  • @phreaker92 1973

  • @HeartoftheDragonColo omg.. i thought that this is the mind games album :D

    np.

    but thx :D

  • @phreaker92 1973

  • Lennon kicks A$

  • Too bad this wasn't promoted as a single, as it IS kick ASS/Z

  • Every Lennon song without Yoko is a great song.

  • @cometandcupids Oh hell yeh

  • This song is tight as. See what I did there?

  • Beginning reminds of me of 'One After 909'....Sort of.

  • weeeeeeeeelll.....

  • So this is about Yoko too? :D

  • If it was about Yoko would be called 'Flaccid Ass'.

  • king of all hippies :X !

  • Drown voice, a real Rock'n'roll by John Lennon..Thank You.

  • One of the best Rockers ever...

  • Comment removed

  • pretty frisky ;)

  • where the fuck are the Lennon fans?

  • great song

  • Sounds like an old song from the 60s and something The Beatles would have done during their heyday.

  • one of the best albums in the history of the rock...

  • @zerawlennon I tend to be a Lennon-a-holic, but really? Don't get me wrong I like this album because I'm a Lennon fan - that makes it much more difficult to be objective.

  • This song so "tongue in cheek" - I love it

  • U gotta love this tune! (:

  • what a great song, johns solo efforts are so much better than the other 3 lads.john poured his heart out through his music and lyrics.love you john.all of my lennon material is never far from my player.

  • One of the biggest under rated albums of all time

  • a hidden jem of john lennon the song rocks!!!!!!!

  • Looks like the Ozzymountains^^ (background^^)

  • these mountains "are" Yoko :)

  • favourite song off the album..(even my ex girlfriend liked this tune)...

  • haha. oh man, I love John Lennon.

  • It has a sorta 50s vibe to it...

  • I've just changed headphones to hear higher. Great John, beautiful solo.

  • mind games is the best

  • Mind Games is ok

  • Tight A$ got it laid.

  • I love this song way too much. ha ha

  • Plastic ono band is his best album, before Imagine.

  • "Mind Games" with John Lennon was released AFTER "Imagine"

  • @paul195614 all his solo stuff is amazing, with yoko double fantasy is probably the only good one :|

  • @paul195614 That would work, since it was his ONLY (legitimate) album before Imagine!

  • any song crafted by lennon is worth of compliments...he has always been backed by experienced musicians like the ones who played in this song dave spinozza on lead guitar and the recently passed away sneaky pete kleinlow (from the flying burrito bros)on pedal steel...i would like to have a detailed description of every recording session of all of his albums...does anyone know if something by the sort exists?

  • I always liked this song. But to each his own..

  • I love this song too. I was referring to the album. Only this song "Intuition" and "Out the Blue" really rate with me.

  • Simply the best!

  • This is definitely one of the best Lennon solo tracks which I hate to say is kind of a left-handed compliment. He just didn't do enough straightforward rock tracks like this for whatever reason. And yet you can tell they are second nature to him.

  • Man I could hear Jerry Lee Lewis or Carl Perkins doing this song in the 1950's!

  • Have to change the words though! The only thing "Tight" at that time was tight lipped people pretending sex didn't exist!

  • in the 70's? You're kidding right?

  • i think this album is very underated and some classic songs on it.

this song in particular is kind of fun and a good example of his humour.

bring the lucie is the one they keep forgetting to put on john lennon compilations.

one day also is an unusual song that i like

  • yoko in that nice tight shorts did have a tight ass. Leave it to john to right about everything he lives, sees, hears, tastes, and of course feels!

  • No doubt, this is his best solo album, overall. But DOUBLE FANTASY comes in close. If Yoko's screeching wasn't involved, I think it would be #1.

  • Well...Lennon was broken up with Yoko at the time. Lennon was going out with May Pang who Yoko set him up with during their break up. Lennon's greatest album in my opinion. Shortly later...May Pangs lease on Lennon was up..and John and Yoko got back together again.

  • I never looked closely at this record cover until I found it the other day in a junk store, when I realized that it's Yoko's face on the cover! Lennon sure got brainwashed by that ugly lady, didn't he?

  • ...hence the album title!

  • Mind Games is a GREAT album!!! Aisumasem (I'm Sorry), Freda People, Out of The Blue You Are Here, Meat City and of Course Mind Games: All Classics! People have trouble with Intuition, One Day at A Time and Only People, but those songs are not terrible! They just don't reach our expectations of what a great Lennon song is. Give Mind Games another listen and you'll appreciate it for the wonderful album it is.

  • In my eyes one day at a time is the best after mind games song.

  • Best Lennon solo album he made since the Beatles. Made during his "lost weekend", seems he had more inspiration without Yoko

  • @August1977 Most of the music on the album is about Yoko anyway. Aisumasen, Mind Games, Intuition... I could list them all, but it'd be basically the whole track listing besides Tight A$, Bring on the Lucie and Meat City.

  • @joethulhuz : I agree with you. How can't I with the headphones on?

  • @joethulhuz what about I Know (I Know) i dont think that one was for yoko

  • @thebeatles4ever3 I thought about it, and I can't be exactly sure, but that's probably about Yoko too.

  • @joethulhuz i think I Know (I Know) is for Paul

  • @thebeatles4ever3 Hmm, could be. Actually yeah, I think you're right. Well, the point still stands. Most of the songs on the album are about Yoko.

  • best song on this album- great made!

  • I agree. Great sounding 50's delay on the guitar and then add the slide over it...aw man...get it on and do your stuff!
