Yea mccain likes leno more... thats why mccain announced his bid for the presidency on letterman's show in feb of 07. Also that must be why he's been on letterman's show over and over and over since then.

It doesn't matter, that problem wasn't who mccain likes more. The problem is, you don't make a commitment then stand someone up, then go do another interview after you lied about your reason for not appearing.

Did the Republicans forget that McCain chose the Letterman show last year to formally announce that he was running for President? He and Letterman actually had a close relationship, so close that McCain personally called Letterman to say that he had to cancel his appearance. He didn't have an aide do it, or Tucker Bounds or anyone else. Then he lied to him and went to CBS News and even stayed over in NY till the next day. Letterman has every right to be pissed!

Leno is more fair than Letterman? Eeeeee. McCain has been on Letterman's show before, and it was always a delightful conversation. Letterman respects both candidates, but you dismiss David Letterman at your peril. He's a firecracker when he's pissed.
