  • Nice Vid. I have a surf and have been offroading here in oki since 06'. The only places I ever go is just north of kadena and I have a blast. I havent been in a while because more and more places are getting chained off. Hopefully I can fin a place to go soon so I can feed the habbit!

  • Dude beautiful truck and looks like you had an amazing time. I'm just getting into off roading in Okinawa. Went to a few places and had a BLAST (Onna point), I know you said it would be hard to find these spots but throw me a bone!! I have no idea where to go, escpecially in the southern area closer to Kadena. GREAT VIDEO!!

  • hey can you give me an idea of where to go in okinawa. bought a jimny and lookin to go muddin. I cant find anywhere on my own and im tired of drivin all over the place tring to find somewhere. Id appreciate it

  • Most places are on the Northern part of the island. Hard to give directions unless you're familiar with that area. Places for beginners and advanced. Don't go alone if you plan on getting crazy. You'll end up stuck. Guys at Typhoon motors on Foster may be able to help you. Many places closed off now because Americans tend to camp out and are too lazy to take their trash with them. Not all but those that do give the rest of us a bad name.

  • Nice way to TREAD LIGHTLY ... there are only 5 natural mangrove swamps left...well 4 now.

  • For your information, this is not a mangrove swamp or any kind of swamp for that matter. This location is the result of an abandoned construction project. The project ran out of money and everything was left in it's torn up state to the benefit of those who choose to do some off roading. I'm sure you'll be pleased to know that the powers that be have decided to place this area "off limits" to those of us involved in the barbaric ritual of off roading. No worries, we'll just go somewhere else.

  • No worries with offroading.. its how and where you do it. I bought my first 4x4 in Okinawa in 96. Most of the places were chained when I returned in 02 and it seemed everyone owned a surf or pajero. I figure they closed everything due to too many trucks tearing shit up. I just returned in 07. I am an avid Offroad enthusiast myself. Fort Fisher NC/Tellico NC/ Bald Mtn CA/Last Chance Canyon CA/Afton Canyon CA completed. I am sure I will see you out there.

  • nice
