I can't believe Schillinger caused his own sons death just because he renounced the white supremacist ideology. If he wasn't killed Beecher probably would have turned Andy into a law abiding citizen

@Turkboy1231 yeah but you have to remember that beecher's intentions were never to help andy. his sole intention was to get revenge on vern through andy. its still fucked up that vern renounced andy for standing up for himself when he was doing so well, but that whole family was abusive to start with so i think andy and hank were screwed any way ):

Andrew seemed so pathetic during his stint in prison, it almost makes you forget what he was in for. Then again, he may have only had a small role in the lynching. Maybe it wasn't his idea. I didn't write the episode. Hank was just a scumbag period. He richly deserved the hit that was ordered on him.

The final season, Augustus Hill shared his neutral space monologues with other deceased characters, who are now as street-smart as him. Supposedly the afterlife gave them their new perspective.
