I went through pretty much the same process. Also, I had the definition of agnostic wrong for several years, once I found out that it's just in regard to what is knowable, I started calling myself an atheist because I didn't believe in any gods.
I agree, that is why I choose to label myself an atheist. I could like Douglas Adams label myself as a "radical atheist" just so that people are sure I really mean it.
Once with my consent for sure when I was 10 and living in Europe. The other time was allegedly performed by my grandmother when I was just a baby back in the states lol.
At least I can be sure that both of them were Roman Catholic Baptisms! No foul apostasy or conversions for me! ^o^

Congratulations! I mean it -- some get trapped.
Strictly, one could be an agnostic theist or an agnostic atheists = I believe but I dunno, or I don't believe but I dunno.
I think that it is technically knowable -- there should be evidence, but there is none.
