K I got it to get to the patching, but it's been patching for about 30 minutes.

How long did it take you first time?

if you are on vista please run LibUSB in either NT or XP compatibility mode!

i followed exactly what you said and used the custom fireware when restoring my ipod but cydia and the installer never came up on my ipod

sometimes it does not, If the screen turns black just wait a little bit till everything is done on the computer and it should restart on its own. sometimes the Screens do not work. thats kind of a big bug for Quick Freedom. I am sorry
