this must be the 100a right? cus I know the 100b doesn't have interval recording anymore on it, they removed it. Either that or did you just speed up tape to like 600% or something...?Nevertheless kick ass footage!

Thanks for responding to my earlier question. I do have one other, if you don't mind. What frame rate did you use (24, 60fps, etc.)? And/or, did you achieve the time lapse/fast motion in postproduction (Final Cut, Avid?) Thanks again.

I was just at 29.97 w/ it at 1/8th frame rate, then sped up in FCP.

when you say "1/8th frame rate" do you mean shutter speed? isn't 29.97 the frame rate you shot it in? can you tell us what iris you used here? thanks a lot!

I just bought a DVX100b. What settings did you use for the night time-lapse (shutter speed, iris, etc.)? Cool stuff.

Typical excellent low-light performance of the amazing DVX100B...had a friend sell his and buy an HVX200 (HD) and he is pissed that it is so much more noisy in low-light. The 100B is fantastic.

Yeah. I love the 100b. It seriously is amazing. I love shooting it in forests with evening light, it makes for a VERY VERY real 35mm look.

a friend of mine just got an hvx200 and it's retarded how good the picture is, although i have heard that the 100b low light is better/clearer...but i haven't seen for myself yet.
