  • it seems as though they have taken their info from the source books for the weird west its good though for a low budget and the acting ain't crap like you get in other low budget efforts! someone really thought this through

  • Haven't found any problem with the series other than being too short. It's not totally original, but it least stands out well enough and to top it off there isn't much steampunk outside animation/anime so it feels fresh for that reason alone. Hope to see expansions of the series in the future.

  • OMG The Empress's Spike Heels MarY I Love THEM!!! Smexy ~_^

  • Not a bad show. All it really needs are a writer and and a directer with a little imagination.

I don't think it up to the standard cheese, let alone great cheese. Come-on guys, smoke some pot or something.

  • ok pls anybody what centurie is she in?? :D

  • "For one, this isn't in a Victorian-era... in fact, it's not even in our reality. I always liken it to a fusion between Medieval and World War I times. We also wanted to find different, unique ways to put some of the steampunk elements into our world. Don't want to say too much, but it's definitely a different take, and hope everyone appreciates the departure."

  • What's the name of women in the movie?

  • What happened to her awesome goggles?

  • I'm liking it as well. Great production quality for a small series. Sadly, the overly dramatic music might drive me away before I finish all the episodes listed. Every scene is shot like the beginning of 28 Days Later, with "creepy" music that replaces suspense in the story with suspense-ish sounds. Other than that, I really dig it. Great work!

  • She's Gorgeous!

  • Eh, we'll have to see how this pans out. The wiki on this makes me expect lots of cheesiness to come...which would be on par with the typical juvenile writing of this genre. We'll see though.

  • juvenile? I take it you haven't read any Mieville?

  • just to add... I'm not overly impressed with what I've seen of this Riese series so far either.

  • this series look good lots of action suspense keeps you thinking to me looks like from a time of Nazis or confederates army or some what

  • very mysterious i like it

  • that ep was just great the little cgi we seen was good even bette rthen is many movies because it did seemed to fit the scene and not artificial keep them comming

  • I'm loving this series. I love the lack of dialog. Tell the story with images; that's what I'm all about. Keep it coming.

  • So far so good on this!! still kinda confusing but hey its looking good..kinda looks professionally made!! hope there is more than just four episodes though, hate to get into this and it becomes a dead title!

  • Nice photography. I love the lighitng done here. But the costume is kanda confusing. However, i think it looks like fantasy comic book style. Overall is great!

  • Is it based on a book?

  • It's nice, especially on the note that it's not a high fund film. I enjoyed watching it. Though, if they could get some funding it would probably be friggen awesome!

  • lol "Take care of the rest, I'll be right back." (Nevermind that there are babies crying in the boxes and this lady is staring..)

  • 7:54

    Ninja delivery-men!

(but seriously, though, this video is awesome)

  • I like it... so far so good.

  • lol, all people seem to want to do is try and bad-mouth this. I really like it.

The rare vocalization (especially in the main character) makes it feel like this could have made a really good video game.

  • the first part was steampunk but this didnt seem like steampunk. episode one was, but this was way too modern looking with the hospital. steampunk is steam machinery in the VICTORIAN ERA, this just looks like a person in funny clothes running around a hospitall

  • a. It's steampunk inspired.

    b. Steampunk is not required to be from the Victorian Era.

  • steampunk is VICTORIAN ERA. ANY ONE WHO LOVES STEAMPUNK AND KNOWS ABOUTE IT CAN TELLL YOU THAT. IT WAS A GENRE USED BY WRITERS

  • what IS steampunk???

  • @sheeshow155 It's like fantasy.

But with steam, cogs, and goggles everywhere. Especially goggles.

  • steam punk is set on the 19 century. The Victorian era takes like 800 years of it. Of course Steam punk was inspired mainly from the literature from the period (Jules Verne, H.G. Wells, Mark Twain, and Mary Shelley), more than the actual history itself.

PS:And yes this series looks like a selection of scenes that makes you point and say hey isn't that from that movie/video-game scene?!!

  • @LagZeroNET steampunk can also be applied to post apocolypse and parrallel universes

  • I love the steampunk costumes

  • she's kinda hawt

  • She looks a lot like Kate Beckinsale. Especially in the early scene when she was lying on the bed with her hair down.

  • its not that bad, its alright, her reaction was somewhat , retarded; to say the least. But non the less, it not worth thumbs down, maybe like, 1/2 a thumb or 1 but 2 thumbs, noooooooo. Not when u have a main character that fit.

  • the ranting person in a hospital. WASW I THE ONLY ONE WHO NOTICED IT WAS JUST LIKE THE CUTSCENE IN ASSASSINS CREED

  • OMG very well done in deed!! congrats your hard work is evident, i forgot it was a 10 min episode LOL very TV like....

    GREAT JOB 5 stars :oP

  • this is amazingly well done for a web series

  • once again... rock on with the steampunk!

  • wow. are those like babies in there...that is so f-ed up...this really is interesting 2 thumps up y'all!!!!!

  • boy am i slow, im barely starting to get the Red Riding Hood motif with her and the wolf.

  • its steampunk /neovictorian no bad for a b movie

  • Love how she's been unconscious for two days, but still in her clothes, while the other person in bed is wearing a hospital gown...Must be a 4-day rule...

And it's not post-apocalyptic, it's supposed to be steampunk. (<-Not trying to be snarky)

  • how about , everyting looks soo clean and neat,

  • Loving this show.

  • The second episode is nearly as good as the first. And the acting of the Empress in too contrived, too over-acted. But I do like the addition of Asgard in to the mix.

  • I just don't find the actress believable as a heroine. She's utterly stiff and too delicate for the role. I really like the effort, but this series suffers from too much pretty and not enough depth.

  • dude is this fallout 3?

  • why are her boots so clean still? XD - otherwise good costuming and production/photography. I'd say as good as the Pink 5 series or Troops

It seems kinda post apocalyptic rather than fantasy, so setting could still be somewhat modern.

  • lol how its all modern looking in the hospital... makes it seem like its not in the right time zone

  • The girl's acting is so bad everytime she looks at the wolf (hybrid) she looks scared. I keep thinking, "Why does she keep looking at the dog like that? Is that her only expression"?

  • E.P.I.C.!X2

  • hey common guy dont be mean, Everyone deserves a chance. I say try and sell it to Sci Fi Channel, maybe can be converted to a movie with all the episodes together.

Best of luck, you keep making it, ill keep on watching it

  • Hey guys common dont me mean, Everybody deserves a chance.

I say Try and sell it to Sci Fi channel, And probably make it into a movie with all the episodes together. best of Luck, ill keep watching if you keep making it. best wishes

  • Elég gagyi az egész. Nem is részletezem...

  • I like how this "Steampunk" on the run in the woods, just got in a fight, girl has such nice hair and as always, fucking gorgeous. Maybe one day they will have a show with a main character that looks average. Every bad sci-fi show always has attractive leads. Apparently any hero or anti-hero in the fucking universe is hot.

  • So cool! I love it! Don't listen to people who give long explanations about why it sucks, it's awesome! Keep it up!

    ~Eden K.~

  • she looks like a doll with all her make up. Also, TITS.

  • what the hell is going on? kinda wish they would explain everything...or at least something. other then that its pretty sweet

  • awesome film

  • Or it's only 20 minutes into the series....

  • Although I really like steam- and cyberpunk, there must be a reason for all the gadgetry for it to be immersive. Sure cool goggles, but what are they for? Same goes for the advisor guy.

And like others mentioned, the fact that she has been on the road for some time, been trough a fight, been unconcious for a while should really do something to all that makeup.

I don't know if it just cliche or a reference, but that "Watch it!" with the crates lind is ooold.

    Nice costumes though.

    -NWS

  • if you don't get the reason for all the gadgetry, you just don't get steampunk. About the makeup, hey, it's fantasy and she is a lady.

  • Nice story :X:X:X:X:X:X Riese is beautiful :*

  • Great production design!

  • I think its a bit too modern and things clash too much, but everything else is beautiful.

  • Haha, I loved how she put up the hood and then it just fell back down.

  • I love how when Riese leaves the hospital she has no goggles and then in the next scene they appear again. What are they for anyway? And what happened to her wolf-dog friend? And when does this take place. I mean the hospital looks rather modern with all it's well-packaged bandages and supplies, but the outside looks ancient.

The story line IS getting more interesting though and at least, Riese is kind of a HOTTIE!!!

  • The series is supposed to be a stream punk. Old yet modern with tons of cogs everywhere.

  • This is like a bad SyFy Channel series. Horrible story.

  • Not to mention the mascara, rouge, lipstick and eyeliner...

  • What's up with the eyeshadow and plucked/painted eyebrows? =|

Just pisses me off that even when they try going for "gritty" they end up with posh and polished. =(

  • I find this an interesting series. Job well done.

  • cool story brah

  • yeah, i like the series xD

  • awesomeeee =D

  • my opinion: its great. There is just too much walking ;)

  • the settings and costumes amaze me! Great job with this. The acting isn't that bad and neither is the story. It kept me watching!

  • Instead of reise they should have called it 'skin'. cause i like her skin. :D

  • @lewiqe

    cool story bro!!

  • Wow this is not bad considering its internet, actually brilliant, could use a bit better dialog, and orignal lines.

  • damn she is one hell of a babe

    ze boobs are niceeee

  • the CG babies were well done.

  • where's the dog? :(

  • This is very good costumes are just wonderful! and acting is enough good keep it going. :)

  • the costumes in this are great; but the acting and story... not so much. Sorry.

  • How would you know when your speakers were turned off.

  • er... I suppose this is your attempt at a comeback. If so: Really?

  • @Godcomingwithsword suck a dick

  • dayum she hot! mmmh

  • No white tower

  • she should be a model and nothing more tbh

  • so goood!

  • what i would i like to no is wen is sposed to take place? btw that wolf is bueatifal n so is the lady n is she sposed to b muute?

  • It probably takes place in a steam punk fantasy world not any historical time period.

  • No, she talks at about 3:40.

  • babies in crates. oh the inhumanity.

    great show.

  • the design of asguard looks like the city of atlantis..........the design in the books

  • Looks like Minas Tirith to me, in the diagram that is.

  • I like. I like.

  • good show...

  • pretty sure they are going to be used for the process of turning them into some sort of soldiers. the rejects turned into slave labor. then we can see the army of an empire built with steam punk mechanical apparatus. a half human half machine type. then a war ensues or is prevented and the loss of many characters will follow in a "we tried, its so tragic. but its over now" theme. =)

  • Actually, the gears/mechanical bits on the costumes/people basically amount to status symbols among the followers of the Sect. The more relics, as they're called, the higher up you are. Obviously, Trennan and Empress Amara are special cases, but still, that's the general gist of it. No cyborgs for us. ;)

  • Why can't shows that come out be cool as this? Thank god for the internet to see this cool show.

  • It is a canadian show after all. Although I think even we charge foreigners. Not so many babies in crates up here either

  • I'm surprised they didn't charge her. Did she have health insurance? That's better care than you'd get in most ER's. They can't be that bad.

  • maybe its like over here, they all actually pay taxes and get free healthcare

  • I guess if you're a foreigner and not pregnant you just don't get quality service in this town.

  • those are HUGE newborns!

  • what, they don't take your boots off in the ~2 days your in the hospital in the post-apocalyptic future?

  • Not bad, kool music

  • Yea, I don't know how I feel about this series.

  • Is this a fantastical universe or a post apocalyptic Earth? Also, just because you hot glue some sprockets to a costume doesn't make the character part mechanical. Reminiscent of the mechanical man from Hell Boy.

  • it's a fantasy universe, Steampunk to be exact. And yeah, I agree. The mechanical uniforms are very unconvincing.

  • Steampunk Fantasy to be exact. It seems to indicate some form of magic going on.

  • were there babies on the boxes?? ouch...poor babies :( great show though!!! loving it so far!!!!

  • 2 good episodes! i really like it!

  • i like it.............

  • This shiz need subtitles ASAP! FFS!

  • LOL ASGARD - STARGATE REFERENCE

  • Yeah, 'cause it couldn't have anything to do with that Asgard was the home of the gods in norse mythology.

  • Nope :/

  • LOLOLOLOL HISTORY FAIL Asgard = Norse Mythology Reference! LOLOLOLOLOL

  • Dude, it wasn't that funny.

  • Or a refference to where Norse gods lived

  • and you think you can do better? LOL

  • LOL!!! Babies in crates What the hell! <3

    Good episode.

  • So the Sect controls this town, and the doctor is taking all the babies and shipping them to the Sect for fodder in Sect brainwashing and control of the population. We know his tatoo identified him to her, and we saw she had a tatoo that had been burned off. The opening started as a flashback to her past that morphed into her waking - wonder if she went through the same thing these mothers are going through? I think the eps could be a touch longer, but great stuff nonetheless.

  • BABIES IN CRATES!!!

They all know about it but I'm sure they don't want the rest of the world to know. Sounds like a secret to me. Pretty horrifying as well

  • So what was the big secret?

  • The Sect is kidnapping children.

  • damn shes hot!!

  • I said I couldn't wait for more dialogue, and I am happy! Lover the morse code messenger dude, also.

    BABIESSS~!

  • Outstanding series. Congrats

  • I noticed on second watch - AIRSHIPS! in Asgard. The visual effects are very pretty.

  • lol they have prescription medicine in this world XD

  • Definitely better than the last episode and the aesthetic is still great. The pacing could really use some work though. It feels more like a cut up episode of a television show then a webseries. I suspect it will be great when combined but it leaves the individual pieces weak on their own.

  • This promises to be an awesome series!

I was hooked from the 1st episode...and am looking forward to seeing how things develop from here. Job well done by all-congratulations!

  • LOL. What?

  • The tatoo means he's a part of the Sect.

  • This is why we pay tax. They have awesome medicare in steampunk worlds. HUZZAH!

  • Her hair and make up reminds me of Amy Acker somewhat.

  • Holy CRAP. 0__0

  • This show is awesome. This show did in 8 minutes what SGU couldn't in 4 hours, hook me into the story. Great show cannot wait for the rest of the series

  • How did she get her goggles back all of a sudden?

  • i have a better question... WTH is WITH the goggles... @ 1st im like yay no more goggles... o wait there they are >.>

  • I love the goggles!

  • lol good question, i like the show so far though xD

  • she must have pockets in her cape... and why not have the goggles, they'd keep stuff out of your eyes! they're awesome

  • Soooo exciting and beautiful!! and i love the Doctor! how does he manage to be so creepy...

LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! Can't wait to see more!

  • Can't wait to see the next episode

  • If you read the back story on the site, you'd know that wolves have been tagged as unlawful and endangering and Fenrir must keep to the woods when Riese enters a village.

    BABIES IN CRATES D:

This is just as awesome as I thought it would be...<3

  • Great, great Job!

  • Love it. It looks fantastic (obviously) and the mystery deepens!!

  • very good show

  • What can I say, another great episode.

  • Wow. Now I have all of these scenarios running through my mind of where this dirty little secret is going.

Nice attention to details. Another great wep!

  • AWESOME!!!!

Ok so cool. freaky but cool.

    Amara oooh shes evil.

  • The series seems to be in good hands. Very nice first two episodes!

And thanks for giving the role of Riese to miss Chatelin, she's perfect for it ;)

    Keep it up, guys!

  • Creepy! Great episode, my mind is spinning. It'll be a harder two week wait for the next one!

  • where was her wolf companion!?

    still made of win though

  • Fenrir never followed her into the village. He ran up the forest before she approached the man outside if I'm not mistaken. I guess he'll join up with her as soon as she leaves.
