  • Stephen Schneider might just be in a hotter place now. The guy was the ultimate junk scientist. Stanford University ought to be ashamed for their behavior. Their actions were truly despicable and they need to be called out for it.

  • @acavideo

You sure do have a very negative view of Muslims. That is probably why your closed your account

  • Even if the earth was warming, there would be less hurricanes. You need cold air and warm are to make a hurricane just like a tornado.

  • The "coming Ice Age" predictions were made by the media, not by scientists. There's not a single peer-reviewed paper published between 1965-79 that predicted a coming Ice Age, and merely 7 expected a gl. cooling.

Though Schneider predicted a gl. cooling in the early 70s, he never said it would be a new Ice Age. Already in the late 70s, after new research results were published, he changed his views. Watch an interview with Schneider from 1979: watch?v=pB2ugPM0cRM&feature=channel_video_title

  • To all AGW-deniers: come back when you have published your "work" on climate science in a peer-reviewed climate journal article. Until then, STFU!

  • @mphello ura dangerous nut. You have totalitarian leanings...

  • @SIM2402 And you anti-communist anti-environmentalists are dangerous totalitarians who kill and suppress just as many hard-working environmentalists and environmentally conscious people as the communist and theocratic (Saudi Arabia) regimes do. You must be stopped before you spread further.

  • Forget trying to convince AGW-deniers. They are fanatic extremists with a severe sexually-confused

homoerotic complex for Al Gore, but they are ashamed to say it.

So, in their sexual frustration and confusion, they lash out constantly at Al Gore,

who won't satisfy them, and make homophobic hate-filled outbursts.

  • AGW-deniers are so discredited these days. They still think the moon-landing was staged,

and that Al Gore either invented or caused the Holocaust.

They think vaccines contain nanobots that control people's minds that turn them gay.AGW-denialism all began with Alex Jones, who thinks 911 was a hologram.

Many AGW-deniers even lie about their USA citizenship, many coming here illegally.

AGW-deniers make millions off their oil-coal connections with the Taliban.

  • Med school is the place where they brainwash students into believing the myth that vivisecting on animals is useful to humans.

Med school students are not taught to do original hardcore creative research.

They are simply brainwashed into memorizing body parts and various medical techniques.

Your opinions on climate research are worth zero.

  • This video and your organization is anti-scientific bullshit.

It's called "making a conjecture off the top of your head, and then as mountains of data and other proof come in that anthropogenic global warming (AGW) is real and serious, publishing peer-reviewed papers".

Get over it and yourselves. Your self-righteous claim that you have anything of value to say, let alone that you've "disproven" AGW, is laughable.

You probably deny peak oil/coal, too.

  • Lawyers solve all problems. If you don't believe me, ask a Scientologist.

  • not evil just wrong. exactly. poor skeptics.

  • whatever view you have > WELCOME TO THE AGE OF CHAOS Harp/Scalar/Telsa & Geo engineering -Greek property developers setting fires on purpose to buy up land -evidence anti freeze is bing pumped along the New Madrid fault line after the BP spill to try to dislodge the northern ice sheets. .the contrail /chemtrail (whichever name /theory you prefer) is causing Global Dimming (an ever increasing phenomena) Elites become greedier & cause more pollution than entire countries combined -

  • Would you people prefer that Schneider held on dogmatically to his thoughts that there would be global cooling even though new evidence showed that global warming would be the more likely outcome of carbon dioxide emissions? Science is a self-correcting system, and the fact that you people are using that fact that scientists are following the evidence as it comes in as some kind of negative action really shows your lack of understanding of the process of science.

  • @ScientiaVeritasEtLux

i graduated college with three majors in three different sciences. i am now in med school. science is a part of my life. no decent scientists can look at the evidence they have based on shoddy statistics, dubious computer models and ever changing data and claim that ANYTHING remotely human-induced is causing climate change. the preponderance of this tripe comes not from scientists, but from policy makers.

this is not the scientific process, this is indoctrination.

  • @ScientiaVeritasEtLux plus, you're latin is missing a verb. est, i believe

  • So what? There were two competing pollutants under consideration back then - aerosols and CO2. CO2 causes warming. That's well and truly established.

  • What is wrong with changing your mind........nothing!!!

  • this is total bollocks. listen to any full talks from this Professor and you'll get some intelligent, rational and articulate insights into this complex issue. This crap with scary music and restrictive editing serves nobody.

  • @beattherapydotcom

    ...it's called a preview.

  • So In 1979 due to his research Dr Schnieder changed his attitude towards Global warming and began a 30 year doctrine on the effect of CO2 on the planet. Is this Bull shit video meant to persuade me to not believe in Global warming because of some shity attempt at making a docco with some commentary from a idiot with an english accent. Go stick your mouth over a muffler and see how that effects you.

  • Wow - I was an "Environmentalist" a long Time ago, in d 70's, during d ICE AGE APOCALYPSE. Now in d Age of d CLIMATE WAR-MING APOCALYPSE I can only be confronted w my own Arrogance of Youth that I knew what d F_ck was going on. Armed w d Arrogance of Youth I had Superior knowledge I had to save d Planet from d coming Ice Age. In my Arrogance it never occurred to me that my Mind had been hijacked by SocioPathetic Criminals who had spent more Time Studying my Mind then I had.

  • Comment removed

  • The more we learn, the more firm we may become in our views. Or they might change completely.

This is not a bad thing!

In the 70's there was more uncertainty about climate, but by the end of the decade, Schneider summed up his thoughts as follows: /watch?v=pB2ugPM0cRM

  • omfg, he changed his mind! How dare a scientist do that? /sarcasm

  • This video is propaganda. Schneider simply followed the science. The planet WAS cooling. There was a dip from 1940 - 1970 due to particulate pollution that was overcoming the rise in green house gasses. What Schneider actually said was, if a 400% increase in pollution occurred then there *might* be more cooling than warming.

That is what scientists do: they follow the science and determine *possible* scenarios. They adjust their thinking to the facts, not their ideology. How ignorant are you?

  • "Naturally, someone who had professed the coming of the next ice age in the 1970s would be a bit less believable if he were professing that global warming was the planets current state"

Wow, so why is there a video of him talking about global warming in 1979 then? See greenman 3610 to see what I mean. So why do you engage in blatant falsehoods?

  • I have a great solution to the global warming scam, I mean problem. Those of us who believe the Earth temperature is changing due to human activity can move to Antartica where the warming will catch up. Those who believe this is just a myth brought up to get our money, can stay where we are and let the warming kill us if it happens. Either way, you wakos, I mean Al Gore believers, will be much happier as we live where we are now and eventually die.

  • @UnfoundWay I have a suggestion, arrogant know nothing scum bags can either publish their evidence in a PEER REVIEWED journal or STFU and let DEMOCRAY take its couse - insead of childishly stamping your feet like a 2 year old!. There is NO excuse for this psychopathic behaviour you are displaying. Your 'let die' attitue is disgusting - BILLIOLNS of peoples lives are at risk.

Better yet those who belive science, should be allowed to act. Those who don;t should LEAVE THE PLANET!

  • Oh my gosh..... "Don't be poor in a hot country"???? Easy for you to say... you're probably paid to be on TV...

  • it is so funny trees need CO2 to grow, huh how can CO2 Cause global warming. Even if warming was happening it is either because of the earth or the universe that is obvious. Humans no matter hou much we contribute, we are not adding to the atmosphere we borrow from the earth and we return and the earth has it's own ability to filter and recycle every material element we use.

  • Why not mention what the reasons were for his belief? Do you think it is wrong for science to make progress and change ?

Or do you believe the sun revolves around the earth as was once the conventional belief?

  • "some say fire, some say ice", either way, we're fu**ed if we do not ACT.

  • @craffte this = nonsense.

  • So funny how Stanford 'protected' him from getting embarrassed over this. I think you can find the banned footage on youtube, but not sure exactly what time the question comes up.

  • How does the fact that glaciers melt lose your water supply? Not all water evaporates immediately, it does stick around in lakes and rivers.

  • This video is playing on the fears of a few scientists on the 70s of global cooling - due to particulates from coal fired power stations emitting large quantities of soot and other pollutants into the atmosphere, blocking out the sun. The 60s saw record cold temperatures all around the world. But the powers stations cleaned up, and we switched to gas, and the problem disappeared. 1976 saw the hottest summer on record - and we have been breaking records ever since - because of CO2.

  • @ToothbrushMan Our production of carbon dioxide is insignificant compared to one single volcanic eruption. One eruption produces more carbon dioxide than all human activity has ever produced. Carbon dioxide is pretty insignificant in our atmosphere, besides, every living thing on the planet produces it and when the organism dies it continues to produce it. Sorry, I'm still not scared of the CO2 myth. Look at the temperture to CO2 graph. Afterwords, you won't be scared either.

  • @UnfoundWay

Categorically wrong. The CO2 emissions from a volcanoes are roughly 1/1000 th of the total emissions of all human activity. It is simply not true to say that a single volcano has emitted more CO2 than all of mankind.

Define "pretty insignificant". Along with CH4 it is a gas in the atmosphere that absorbs the radiation from the sun. Without it we would freeze, too much and we cook.

  • I think there is an ice age coming and then it will get warmer then cooler again then warmer again and then probably cooler after that.

  • wheelzwheela- Yup, no surprise. I've been watching this for nearly half a century now. It's called THE CHANGING OF THE SEASONS and it is totally normal.

I predict the coming ice age will last from late November '09 into about April '10 and then it will begin to warm again...

    AMAZING !!!

  • @DanOblacksmith I really have to agree with you. Here in the midwest, we get winters as cold as -10 degrees. When summer hits, the temperatuers can reach the upper 90's, sometimes it even climbs into the 100's. Do you remember grade school predictions of the ice age covering the earth by the year 2000? I remember one teacher nearly started crying about the eco-fad back then. It's actually quite funny looking back. Most of these easily scared kids are half our age.

  • @wheelzwheela That's exactly what will happen. It has nothing to do with our Carbon dioxide production. It's just a tiny amount in the atmosphere that the trees and plants use anyway.

  • why can't he be evil AND wrong ?

  • Hey big dog, he IS evil AND wrong !!!

  • i think the U.N only employs Psychopathic scumbags anyway because it's a scumbag organization.undemocratically non-government body by the way.

  • the earth has been warming up and cooling back down for millions of years anyway...

  • that's for sure, check this chart out:

    watch?v=DFbUVBYIPlI

  • A bit of global warming perspective, google...

    xepisodes southpark/episodes/908/Two-Days-Before-the-Day-After-Tomorrow.html

    Dave.

  • So what if the Earth is really warming? The Earth does what the Earth will do. Our tiny CO2 emmissions have nothing to do with it. The scientific data actually show that the SUN is causing the warming and CO2 rises after the warmth, not BEFORE.

  • @nellieou Hi. My name is Eddie. I'm glad to see someone else looked at the graph too. So it looks like Al Gore got a Nobel prize in science fiction. I have lost all respect for the Nobel Society after that blunder. They obviously never did much study on the subject, but then again, niether did Al Gore. He took one semester of Enviromental Science his freshman year in college. I don't think that qualifies him as much as an expert. Hay, is that a Nobel prize in my breakfast cereal box?

  • @nellieou You wouldn't know scientific data if it fell on you. CO2 perpetuates the warming. If CO2 levels increase, more heat is held. Our CO2 emissions have everything to do with it.

  • @Bridgmanify what about the CO2 the earth emits without human involvement? Volcano's, natural forest fires, decaying trees and vegetation, that makes up over 90% of all CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. In the grand scheme, we have very little to do with it, to a level of even being inconsequential.

  • @JoshPahr not to mention that's only the CO2 emitted which is only a tiny fraction of all greenhouse gases, water being a much much MUCH bigger one and is MUCH more volatile in terms of concentration up and down.

the global warming hysterics really hit the nail on the head in Cancun when they basically admitted this is more about wealth redistribution than climate change. some head guy actually SAID that, as in, not speculation.... bingo, buddy.

  • @Bridgmanify are you a scientist or with a weather bureau

  • @voicesofsanity

    No. Why?

  • @nellieou

"Our tiny CO2 emissions have nothing to do with it." Wrong. It's analogous to a queue: a small increase in people arriving to queue without a similar increase in people handling the queue causes the line to grow. Small increase in CO2 emissions without increasing the absorption of CO2 causes the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere to grow.

  • @nellieou I would hardly call our CO2 emissions tiny.

  • @nellieou That's actually untrue, completely. The scientific data shows that the sun has not increased in the output of heat since the 1970s, according to the Australian Academy of Science. I don't know what scientific data you're talking about.

  • And for that matter. Dinosaurs lived for MILLIONS of years in a tropical climate. Bones unearthed in the arctic! A few hundred thousand years ago we had an ice age right after they died out. what exactly is the TYPICAL earth climate then?

  • Ummm, so you watched "The day after the day after tomorrow next week" too?

Just because there was a movie made about it doesn't make it true. Otherwise I would live in fear of space aliens and killer spiders.

  • @docmarkc But, but, it's a movie. It has to be true. Didn't you see the people in danger and the scientist in the movie. One of them even looked kind of like Al Gore himself. He was in the background behind the hot woman scientist. As far as the space aliens, I have a solution for them. Just sneeze on them and spread the cold virus all over them like the other movie.

  • One of the symptons of global warming is the shutting down of the atlantic conveyor and the changing of the gulf stream. This will remove the warm waters from northen europe, which will then freeze tight - they are on the same latitude as labrador.

  • @ToothbrushMan Good, let's shut it down. Why not let the bastards freeze; what have they done for us?

Let's warm up Labrador; it's pretty useless right now.

  • Freeze ? Without the Atlantic converyor, northern Europe, incuding the oceans, will be covered in roughly 1/2 km of ice. Northern Europe will simply cease to exist, Period.

  • @ToothbrushMan So...all the heat that used to go to Europe: where will it go? Doesn't it have to GO somewhere? I was hoping to send it to Canada; it is pretty cold up there in winter.

  • The heat will go south - to the west coast of africa.

  • @ToothbrushMan Good! Let the Europeans freeze.

  • @Skeptic121 haha europe is enjoying their cap and tax policy there right now with their standard of living up by 10% and their obvious loss in millions of jobs!

  • then we can throw caution to the wind and speak french HOWEVER WE WANT!!

  • the point is not whether scientists were saying global temps were cooling or warming. the point is that scientists are getting it wrong again and again, and instead of admitting that science is not always accurate and changes with new information; these envirnmentalists and climate 'scientists' want to paint a picture that they know for sure that humans are causing severe climate change to the world. we don't know that for sure and we shouldn't try to be enviro-nazis based on biased research.

  • @wedjatgod Science used to be based on proven facts. It seems now that it has become a, "What if" situation. I think this, "What if" type of science should be called something else. I vote to call it science fiction.

  • If I worked for a grocery store, I'd sell you groceries

If I worked for a car dealer, I'd sell you a car

If I worked for a coffee shop, I'd sell you coffee

If I worked for the Panel on Climate Change, I'd sell you ...

  • What a SCIENTIFIC assessment (and a consevative one BTW) of the climate.

OOOOOO Bugga Bugga - scientists 'selling' science run for the hills, run for hills right wingers, reality is on the prowl and we are defenseless - our bigotry, name calling and conspiracy theories are useless... run for the hills...

  • @StunnedByStupidity You mean politicians selling fiction as science.

  • @UnfoundWay Don't be so stupid. Let me just expose your ignorance - WITH PROOF - what has caused the warming over the last 30 years? Look, this aint a game...

  • PATHETIC. The consensus in the 70's was that it was warming as well...

  • You must be in your 20's or 30's. Those of us old enough to remember this era recall CLEARLY the global COOLING scare; there was absolutely NO talk about warming! The 'impending ice age' stories were on the news almost every night and on the major magazine covers like Popular Science, Scientific American, Time and Newsweek all the time.

  • Comment removed

  • Look, stop it... 7 SCIENTIFIC papers (not magazine articles or sensationalist newspaper/tv programs) for cooling in the 70's and 42 for warming.

Nothing even vaguely comparable is happening now. ALL the PEER REVIEWED science agrees., ALL the worlds scientific institutions and 97% of the climatologists.

It's game over for anyone with more than 2 brain cells or who is not a right winger (the worlds champion bigots).

'global warming 1958' on you tube. Hmmm...

  • Well put

  • @jimbo1490 Hi. If you recall the number one cause of the, "impending ice age" was carbon back then. I remember stupid solutions that were brought up such as covering the polar ice caps with black sands or glass beads. I was just a school kid, but I remember the teachers talking about it as if it were a fact that human activity was the only explanation for the ice age that will come in our life time. 20 more years and we'll be back to the impending ice age again. I hate politicians.

  • @jimbo1490 I remeber one of my old teachers almost crying about the impending ice age. It was supposed to cover most of the U.S. by 2000. It actually did. It started in December, 2000, but it was all over by march 2001. I can't believe it. They were right way back in the 70's about our winter that year. Amazing!

  • The experts in climate always seem to change their long-range theories when deemed necessary. No matter what happens, they will always say that they told us so.

  • I worry when our Congress jumps on pr wagons, and hollywood wagons to make legislation, which will impact us all in not necessarily the right way. Like Cap and Trade Bills, that will make GE rich, not us. And while I believe we have to do some things, I question the manner in which these things are approached!

  • The earth is flat. Anybody that disagrees with me is a flat earth denier.

  • What we can do ??? we the people don't have to do anything -The people that do are -The Bushes with their Oil Fields -The Rockefellers -The Rothchilds-The Bankers- The Auto makers - They are the ones Prodcing all this Garbage - and Grocery suppliers with all their packaging -they are the ones - But No one ever Mentions -them -Or Phiip Morris with all his Grocery Packaging - hahahah it's one Big Propagand Joke .

  • Either global warming deniers are ignorant, or deliberately trying to distort the science.

The global cooling model of the 1970's is based on the assumption of continued sulfur dioxide emissions. A multilateral agreement, The Sulfur Emissions Reductions Protocol, and the Clean Air Act reduce emissions drastically.

The conditions of the hypothesis weren't met, and thus the prediction is moot. He was neither wrong nor right.

  • The science is flawed. Do you believe the sun revolves around the Earth? Well, a long time ago many people argued the sun revolved around the earth and anyone who disputed it was considered a heretic. Denier = the new heretic.

  • "anyone who disputed it was considered a heretic"

Absolutely correct, in the age of religion. Now we live in the age of science. Apples/oranges.

    How is the science flawed?

  • No... the only pertinent fact would be WORLDWIDE SO2 emissions. Since China and others have dramatically increased their use of hydrocarbons, you have to prove it has gone down from the 1970's

  • RE third below DeuxEx

  • First off, SO2 isn't a hydrocarbon.

Here's the best graph I could find detailing SO2 aerosol emissions.

    columbia . edu/~xzp1/photos/SO2byCountry . jpg

The "global cooling" scenario is based on the assumption of an increase in atmospheric sulfates by a factor of four. Quite clearly that didn't happen. Case closed.

  • You reveal that for you, this issue is not about science but about politics. First by calling people who disagree with you "deniers", a politically-charged but unscientific word. Second, by calling them "ignorant", a most unscientific ad-hominem attack.

  • No, the words "denier" and "ignorant" are not exclusive to science.

Someone who claims the earth is flat is both a denier of the round earth model and ignorant. You disagree?

  • I became sceptical when I read how mcuh money Al Gore is making from global warming technology.

  • @cretan981 Do you know that Al Gore only took one semester his freshman year in college pertaining to Enviromental Science? That alone made me doubt him. I looked at the carbon dioxide to temperature graph and that pretty much sealed the deal with me. He is wrong.

  • The Alarmist have the money, the Government and the media to push their agenda to control and tax our energy ....America guard your Freedom, Global Warming is the new religion..says Ivar Giaever, Nobelist in Physics..most scientist say we are heading for an ice age......The brave Irish crew who filmed this are a microcosm of what can happen to you when you disagree with them....your like a bug that needs to crushed....Shame on all of them!

  • can't they just put some damns around greenland so the glaciers just melt on that land instead of falling into the ocean making it bad for everyone else?

  • I have been looking to this for the last 10 years. the earth is getting hotter and has been for 15000 years "end of the last iceage" It has a nice curve on a graph and it is SLOWING down.

Schneider and Gore are full of shit

  • @littlegalah I have seen quite a few graphs too. It is slowing down and the carbon dioxide levels follow the temperature change. It very rarely ever lead the temperature change. Of course Al Gore won't show you these graphs because it would be very damaging to his book sales and his "scientist" persona.

  • I remember the ice age hysteria in the 70s--they tried to cram it down our throats in middle school how by the time we were adults, we would be living amidst huge piles of garbage with no sunlight, no food and freezing to death.

All they taught me then was not to listen to a damn thing they ever had to say again. They're full of shit!

  • @Dontana808 Do you remember some of the proposed stupid solutions back then. Cover the polor ice caps with black sands or black glass beads, was one. I think I remember something about giant floating plastic sheets too. I have a solution for the Al Gore worshipers, just in case he is right. They should tie a bag around their heads so carbon dioxide can't enter the atmosphere. If they don't want to do this, there will be no shortage of volunteers. After all we have to stop CO2.

  • Professor Stephen Schneider is a fraud, along with Al Gore and the rest of the environazi's...

  • Dear Wacko EnvironNazi

What average temperature should the Earth be?

Once we stop climate change, how do we keep it from going down, or up?

What can be done to stop the earth's tilt?

What can be done to stop the Sun from getting Sun spots?

What historical facts prove that higher climates cause disasters?

Why have the hurricane seasons been so weak in spite of the grave predictions caused by Anthropogenic Global Warming?

Why have average temps flattened out in 98' and are now lower?

  • Time was we could tolerate these yahoos, and just laugh at them. But now they are getting into our wallets. Therefore, here is the solution: Everyone who believes in man-made global warming due to "greenhouse gases" such as carbon dioxide must do their part to save the planet: Stop breathing. It will be plenty warm where 100% of those leftists will be going.

  • @TruthTube88 If they are having trouble holding their breathes, I'm sure they will have no shortage of volunteers to tie a bag around their heads.

  • @TruthTube88

Stephen Schneider did stop breathing, permanently, on July 19, 2010

  • Your bullshit.... if you are correct then why did this scum sucker Schneider and Stanford refuse to publish his responses... Like the Mann Hockey Stick these lying fucktwads are just milking the system!

  • Looks who devoid of any reality. Every week a new study emerges that blows gaping holes through the Anthropomorphic Global Warming scam and the little cockroaches like you and Schneider scurry from the daylight of the facts. Al Gore has made hundreds of Millions of dollars profiting from this bogus science and this cocksucker is a tool of the Moron Gore

  • Comment removed

  • I haven't claimed that Schneider was right about global warming; what I said was that this video about Schneider is disingenuous and does not accurately reflect opinion of the effects of greenhouse gases vis-a-vis the climate

  • @CHANGEtheIdiot I really don't understand why some people think Al Gore is a scientist anyway. He is a failed politician that took a semester of enviromental study his freshman year. He is not qualified to be a weather man, much less an enviromental scientist. Hay, I read a couple of medical books. I can offer you medical services at 10% of what the qualified hospitals and doctors can.

  • Well I think the biggest problem with natural environmental or no climate change is that you can't tax the environment and you can't tax people for carbon emissions if they aren't doing any harm. Also the wind farms and carbon credit industry might not flourish if not for man made global warming and many climate enthusiasts will lose money.

  • Normally people who change their mind do so because they have new facts but Schneider has changed his mind with the same facts. He is behaving like an intellectual harlot.

  • Thanks for posting this true info on this unbelievably huge scam. This is nothing more than a socialist plan to transfer as much wealth with no work as possible.

  • NOT just wrong, EVIL!!

  • Comment removed

  • The fact that Stanford is trying so hard to put the genie back in the bottle just intrigues us further that junk science is being used to convince us the sky is falling.

  • I wonder if we could join his cooling graph with his warming graph?

As Manbearpig says: Now one thing that kinda jumps out at you is: Do they ever fit together? Most ridiculous thing Ive ever heard.

  • Would that make the entire Earth about as temperate as say Hawaii ? lol

  • Hey... FREE PUBLICITY! Thanks Stanford!

  • Global Warming is the Liberals' replacement for conventional religion. They can then control the actions of the general population by invoking guilt. Now instead of incurring the wrath of God; the Earth will punish the wicked. Purely an attempt at control of the masses with the complicity of the mass media and educational elite.

  • "Global Warming is the Liberals' replacement for conventional religion. "

    Absolutely right.

  • @jwonsager Don't forget it's also an attempt to make up some taxation without representation. If you produce carbon dioxide, they want to tax you.

  • An untestable theory embraced by "scientists" as doctrine. Rent-seekers all, they've sold their professionalism for ever more government cash.

  • It is about money. Money is hard to come by. If you have warming or global warming in your research proposal, you have a chance. If your position stands against warming, there are no grant moneys. carbon crisis cartel

  • As a former University teacher in the sciences, I am appalled at the way so many "scientists" have given over their minds (rented?) to liberal theology. What happened to the search for truth?

  • Don't forget Steven Schneider's fames words.

"We have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements, and make little mention of any doubts we have. Each of us has to decide what the right balance is between being effective and being honest."

  • hi I am researching this issue - can you give me the source of that quote for my records ?

    Thanks !

  • The quote was by Professor Stephen Schneider, Stanford University.

  • thanks ... but I meant the original reference.

    A document ?

An documented interview or public appearance ?

    Perhaps a recording ?

I like to have my info documented when I engage in a discussion. Thanks again !

  • You can attribute the quote to Stephen Schneider from the documentary "Not Evil Just Wrong" (2009), Greener Horizon Films.

  • "We have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements, and make little mention of any doubts we may have. Each of us has to decide what the right balance is between being effective and being honest."

Stephen Schneider (leading advocate of the global warming theory)

(in interview for Discover magazine, Oct 1989)

  • These guys are the biggest "Chicken Littles" there are. And too many idiots run after them wringing their hands, worrying the sky is falling!!

Then again If Iran has their way it just may!
