I will admit that some Christians had slaves in those days but you're implying an absolute by saying all Christians were segregationist, this simply is not the case. Through out history there have been instances of segregation. Egypt had slaves who were mostly Jews, and Egyptians were not Christians. The "tax breaks" are just going to be followed by having our taxes increased. So no, the stimulus didn't work despite your claim in Michigan. Walker had no right to do that...learn a little: There is not currently any guarantee of same-gender marriage in the California Constitution and specifically provides for amendment by majority vote, so therefore, majority vote is actually a "constitutional right" but same gender marriage is not. The judges clearly violated it's own constitution, 4 ppl decided for a state.

The decision was made by the people, it's that simple. ONE judge can't force this over rule. According to the State supreme court SF judge, his decision was based on the 14 amendment....there's NOTHING in the 14th that JUSTIFIES his ACTIONS, LOL!!! According to the Constitution only the Supreme Court can hear cases involving States.....not the federal court system.

A lot of African Americans owen indentured servants in the colonial times, and actually the first man to "own" a slave in Virginia was a Black man who was a former "Servant." In those days you could have servants but it was more like a contract and at the end of the contract, the servant was either free or bought his freedom. It wasn't until Anthony Jackson -a black man- petitioned the court and won for the right to have a slave for life, also a black man.

I will admit that some Christians had slaves in those days but you're implying an absolute by saying all Christians were segregationist, this simply is not the case. Through out history there have been instances of segregation. Egypt had slaves who were mostly Jews, and Egyptians were not Christians. When the spanish settled in South America, they made the natives slaves. It's not about religion, it has to do with a civilization being further advanced than another.

You didn't address the point- Palin as a Gov. candidate, was calling for Intelligent Design to be taught in schools with evolution. This means she either believes in Intelligent Design (aka Creationism) or doesnt believe it, and said this to appease conservative voters aka her base.
The former is more religious belief than science, the later being compromising beliefs, education, & real science for votes. Not good qualities for a leader.

Loving V. Virginia- the "majority" of that state was fine with ban on interracial marriage. If judges up to the Sup. Court hadn't ruled Loving's marriage would have been ILLEGAL.
If the "majority"of a state said Jews couldnt marry Christians you would be ok with that?

Walker had no right to do that...learn a little: There is not currently any guarantee of same-gender marriage in the California Constitution and specifically provides for amendment by majority vote, so therefore, majority vote is actually a "constitutional right" but same gender marriage is not. The judges clearly violated it's own constitution, 4 ppl decided for a state.

I already answered this. "There is not currently any guarantee of same-gender marriage in the California Constitution and specifically provides for amendment by majority vote, so therefore, majority vote is actually a "constitutional right" but same gender marriage is not."

The decision was made by the people, it's that simple. ONE judge can't force this over rule. According to the State supreme court SF judge, his decision was based on the 14 amendment....there's NOTHING in the 14th that JUSTIFIES his ACTIONS, LOL!!! According to the Constitution only the Supreme Court can hear cases involving States.....not the federal court system.

By the supreme court. This is a constitutional issue. The judges decision based on the 14th amendment is false. This can't be decided by a federal judge in San Fransisco

It's the supreme court to decide not a federal judge..and based on the judges decision, the 14th amendment doesn't "protect" this sort of sexual conduct, which is what the liberal judges like this one basis on gay marriage.

2. What happened in New Jersey, where a lesbian couple wanted a to use a Christian ministry for their civil union ceremonies, the church declined, the lesbian couple filed a complaint (discrimination) and the state stripped their TE.
