I am having a hard time figuring out how to pull data from SQL and then manipulate it ...
I want to pull out John Smith's money earned in 2010. The table is 2010 money earned and we go down to column 1 and find john smith then in column 2 we need to pull out $20,000 and put it into a variable. Then manipulate it and put it into another column.
Can you make a 7th in the series that explains how to NAVIGATE through records? like a NEXT and a PREVIOUS button assigned to buttons? I want to have the user to be able to click NEXT or PREVIOUS, i don't see an easy way to do this. Is there some sample code? thanks! awesome job on the videos btw!
fransd123 I develop your code, but does'nt work for me, if I refresh the form the values are still there!!! What can I do? Maybe using "remove" but, I don't know how I can develop this operation, can you help me? or have some web pages hoy can help me? thanks again....
@ArturoAlcazar1976 Hello again, Send me a friend request or subscribe, this way we can e-mail each other. The refresh code "me.refresh()" redraws the form, it will not remove the text. you will need to e-mail me with the more information like: Does the code remove the item from the database? did you reload the TableAdapter ? send me friend request/subsribe and we will sort it out. Regards
I found this interesting, I'm developing with a database and this example can help me a lot, but it's a shame that I can't see te text. Where I can find code to try this.... or maybe another webpage with this video with a best quality? Thanks....
@ArturoAlcazar1976 Hi, Easy to see the code - change the "360" to "720HD" and make video full screen. You will then be able to see the code in full HD.. Regards

$20,000 --> money * .70 --> column 3.
