  • Hey how much is downpayment yo I need o know :)

  • That's a rather strange looking kitchen.

  • I just bought an 09 sedan I love it! Badass!

  • hot

  • Jesse you forgot to reverse that civic lol

  • I DRAVE A T ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL..............LOL

  • I love hondas i have a red 2000 honda si i like the new sedans better then the new coupes

  • She would look better in a COUPE, with pink fuzzy dices =)

  • i like sedans alot better than coupes.

  • 1:49, so do all women put it in gear and hold the clutch in at lights? STOP!

  • @TheSirVtec Why is it bad

  • I rather have the tach close to the speedometer because I look at the tach quiet a bit, the only reason i look at the speedometer is to keep speed limit, but i always focus on the tach

  • you should've went above 6000rpm, that's where the car comes alive! :)

  • I GET TURN ON ,WHEN I SEE A HOT WOMAN DRIVING A STICK.

  • Vtec never kicked in yo' :(

  • JDM all the way!

  • any news on the 9th gen civic and more so the 9th gen Si?

  • honda used to make simple fun to drive cars now they are so complicated

  • It's and Si, sporty as you said then you should get hard on the gas to show its capabilities, cause seeing this video makes people want to go the the 1.8 EXL AT instead of the Si.

  • I think the 99-00 version looks better plus they are fun to drive :D

  • i wish i could drive a stick i would get one

  • Please make one for 2010 version

  • @ammarmo

Thank you. We will do one for the 2010 model year very soon. Keep visiting our channel.

  • @ammarmo its the same goddamn car. People really don't know anything about cars in this world. Aside from minor facelifts, every car in the same generation is the exact same car with minor changes you can barely notice.

  • this review is sucks !!!! I didn't even hear the Vitek sound !!)

  • @lanlug exactly. I'm also waiting for the VTEC since 1st part..

  • it feels like the video was a little long, some parts could've been cut out. I've actually test drove one of these and wow they're really fun to drive. I especially like the rev-happy engine. There isn't much torque to this engine but if you keep in vtec range it's just as fun. Btw could you pm me Jessica's email and facebook thanks.

  • By that logic, you'd be even more of a man if you dropped $30,000 on a BMW. That'll really show everyone how much money you (but more than likely, your parents) make. But since I'm not a "BoredKid" I think I'll drop this with you and carry on living my life. Later Broski.

  • @ObviouslyBoredKid Nothing says "real man" like a $20,000 Japanese car... You should DEFINITELY be on your high school's debate team. =)

  • @ObviouslyBoredKid "10,000 grand"=$10 million. And as you'd know if you read any of my other comments or researched the car at all before you decided to go be an internet badass, you'd know that you get far more than +33 hp for your money. You should go outside and play instead of bothering people with stuff you know nothing about.

  • This things sick....

  • Question. Hows the visibility when cornering left in the SI? Does the A-Pillar get in the way too much? Obviously the car has got all the tools to shred a two lane country road, but can you see well when youre driving on those roads?

  • You shouldn't use the AUX jack to use your iPod, you should plug it on through USB found in the center console.

  • ohhhh an AUX jack, product of 1998 and found in most rental cars! I don't know. The features they go over in this "review" are kind of ridiculous and unimportant.

  • I just bought a Civic Si couple days ago and I'm loving it

  • Wonderful! Congratulations on your new car.

  • "This drives better than BMWs and Audis..."

Please... I mean, the Si seems like a great car, don't get me wrong, but Audis and BMWs especially are on a completely different level.

  • I've driven the Audi A4 and the BMW 3 Series...the Si is just better

  • Sure it is...

  • ok whatever go pay an extra 10k just for a badge

  • - German engineering

    - Luxury car fit and finish

    - V6 engine with 33 more horsepower and 61 more lb/ft torque.

    - Rear wheel drive.

Just a few of the other things you get for your $10,000 on the BMW 328i in addition to the badge. Or get a 128i and save a little money.

  • -Japanese Build Quaity

    -Fully independent Rear Suspenstion

    -Front Limited Slip Diff

-0-60 in less than 6.5 seconds

so what if its FWD, it still handles like a dream and i shit u not i just bought mine from 22k including tax and everything brand new 2009 si with like 10 miles on it

  • I'm not trying to put down the Si at all. It sounds like a fantastic car. I'd pick an Si over an SE-R Spec V or Corolla XRS any day of the week. Some of your perception of how good the Si is (and of course I don't know for sure) may be that such great performance comes in such an economical car. And while that's a feat in itself, it doesn't necessarily put it in the same class as a mid-engine, V6, rear-wheel drive, German luxury sedan. Not trying to be a dick, just my opinion... :)

  • I know, and I'm not trying to be a dick either, just saying for what value the Civic is, can't really beat it. Plus the BMW 3 Series isn't mid engined lol but i bet that was just a typo.

  • Yeah, I agree whole heartedly with that. And yeah, it's not really mid engine. You always hear about BMW's focus on weight distribution so I guess I just took that and ran with it. It sits slightly further back than most though, so sorta front-mid-ish? haha.

  • hahah yeah that is true. The Civic Si is really light to. The coupe is just under 3000 pounds and the sedan is just over

  • Yeah, I'm a big fan of Hondas in general. Their interiors are by far the some of the best, in my opinion (Exteriors as well, but I place a lot of value on interiors). The engines never die and in a lot of cases they're real performers as well. You really can't go wrong with one. It just struck me as odd that they were comparing it to cars outside its class, that's all. And I probably shouldn't have even said anything since something like ride quality can be largely subjective.

  • The ride quality in the Si is firm but still comfortable. Personally, I love feeling little bits of the bumps on the road, makes it more involved. But take the new V6 Accord. It seriously looks like a true executive car. I just hope one day Honda makes one of those RWD biased AWD systems that don't really send power to the front wheels unless they really need it.

  • Yeah, when you look at the lines of the new Accord Coupes it's just begging to be RWD. Giving the front wheels power too when they need it would make it that much better. I've got an Accord myself. It's almost 10 years old and has a 4 cyl. but still, really nice. With what little face time I've had with the Si though, it really makes me wanna trade up to one. (It'll probably be a while till I can afford that 3 Series. haha)

  • Yeah i just saw an accord with 450k miles and it still ran perfectly. They made the 3 series so expensive. I mean if you want the 335i with couple options you're probably gonna be pushing 50k. And yeah, the S2k is almost done which leaves no RWD cars for Honda when Toyota is teaming up with Subaru for couple of crazy RWD sports cars. Honda really needs to make a RWD sports car and change the Accords to RWD because sending 280hp to the front wheels is just asking for an accident to happen.

  • I don't really understand why they wouldn't do that. They're making a rather large car that's a little higher caliber than the rest out there, why not switch it to rear drive? Is FWD cheaper to make? Do they save on engineering costs because pretty much all their other stuff is FWD? If Hyundai can do it with the Genesis line, so can Honda. I hadn't heard that about Toyota and Subaru. Toyota hasn't had any real exciting offerings for a while, so it'll be interesting to see what they come up with.

  • Honestly I couldn't agree more. Hyundai did it with the Genesis and Hyundai is bringing the Equus which is bigger and more luxurious. FWD is probably cheaper to insure, but Honda should let us worry about the insurance and just make the car. I say bring the NSX back and also the Civic del Sol with RWD and the Prelude with RWD.

  • Gimme a modern interpretation of the Prelude with RWD and the Si treatment and I'll be set.

  • oh wow wouldn't look at any other car

  • I asked my friend the same thing about FWDs and he says FWDs ARE cheaper to make because you don't have to make a longer drive system (or something like that). If the Si did come as a RWD (and maybe the double wishbone suspension it used to) it'd be up there witht he big leagues and the only reason people would keep hating on Civics is because they either never drove one or just jealous.

  • wish i knew how to drive a stick cause i would get this car, but unfortunately i don't know how to so i think i am just going to have to stick with the regular honda civic sedan when getting my new car in a couple of months yah so excited !

  • its really easy i didn't have a clue but i really wanted this car...luckily one of my friends has it so i was able to learn in an hour or so and now i have the si and love it

  • Granted the civic is a great car I'm hopefully getting one but how exactly do u do donuts in a FWD car and why is Honda not making anymore RWD cars?

  • Well more people like buying FWD since they're cheaper to make, more fuel efficient, and more power gets to the wheels.

I miss the RWDs though. The NSX and the S2000 were the cars that made me love Honda so much. But their FWDs have pretty good handling too.

My goal in life actually is become a designer fo Honda and bring back the RWDs to Honda

  • oh man i really hope u fulfill your goal bro. and yeah honda/acura fwds are still great, the accord even being fwd is a great car but Honda engines are racing engines because their so eager and responsive.

  • I'm reaching 15 this summer so I can get my license next year and my dad says as soon as my parents are done paying for my mom's car (honda pilot) he'll buy me a car and I want the Si coupe badly. I'd like to keep it for a few years then when I'm good enough with it, change it to RWD, and maybe add a small centrifugal supercharger for a bit more hp. Maybe even get stiffer suspension and bigger brakes for better handling, but I'm still planning out the mods. Im bit more focused on getting Si 1st

  • yeah the Si is behind amazing i love mine even though its sedan

  • I want the sedan. 2 reasons

    1) it's cheaper

    2) I need an excuse to not let people ride every now and then cuz I have a friend that knows just about anything about cars (taught me most i know and he's my age lol) and he agrees with me that it's a great car and I love bragging about the Si.

I don't want them to keep goin, "hey man! lets go take it to the track!" but i wanna just cruise and chill from a hard day from school so yeah...

  • let me tell u this

    Coupe= More Insurance

Sedan=More girls in your ride lol

  • Coupe's are higher to insure? I never knew that.

  • yeah its considered more sporty so yeah

  • that's stupid. it's a damn door. by how much is the difference?

  • i agree its stupid also red color is also more expensive, idk depends on ur insurance company your record your age yada yada yada

  • Color Red? really? It seems so corrupt.

Yeah my Dad likes to switch around seeing which one is cheapest so he might help me out with that

  • HAHAHAHA RIGHT! lol i cant wait to get mine... With the coupe tho you can have an excuse of there beeing no room and have her on ur lap LOL

  • true...but not her, them lol

  • hmmp..I cant believe that shes holding the clutch on the the stop light.

  • It's a choice...It technically does wear the pressure plate out faster, but it isn't significant. I'm lazy so I just put it in neutral. When I am eagerly waiting for the light to turn green, I keep it in 1st gear with the clutch in.

  • were all of these feats standard on the Civic Si plzzzz get back to me

  • Yes. All the features mentioned are standard on the Civic Si.

    Thanks.
