  • funny and very good teaching!

  • awsome..this clip has showed me the way..cant wait to meet you guys

  • Great news! Can't wait to meet you too, come visit any time. Matt

  • Matt....can you tell me how you make that deep sound. ( starting at 5:56 in your video) I see several people play it but no one mentions how to get it. I dont think its a vocal as even girls do it.

  • The deep sound actually is a vocal. Its a mid range hum that you do to add that growly sound. Try playing a simple drone, then adding you voice at different pitches, high through to low. You will find that certain pitches work really well with your drone to add that effect. Keep an eye out on our website as we will soon be launching a series of short lessons videos to show you how to do all the cool tips and tricks. Thanks for watching! Matt

  • Thanks for the response. Guess I need to get a lesson. Can't learn everything from the internet...LOL. Hope to run into you someday. Fellow Didger and Fan...Walkabout29

  • I know this is not a recent video but tell me... is it a hemp didge you are playing on?

  • Yep it sure is, they are awesome didgeridoos. We have one on our website at the moment. Its keyed in G and is a ripper, check it out! Thanks for watching. Matt

  • very nice. good lesson thanks

  • cool rhythm, and a lovely soundin didge !

where are u breathin in all the hahaheheho'n ?

  • I've been trying to sus this rhtyhmn for ages. The only thing i know that works for me is to breathe on the ho's a lot of people breathe on ha but i struggle to get the bounce breath on it. Hope that helps!!!

  • I am taking the breath on the Ha's. I'm doing a bounce breath which sounds more like a beat than a breath. Its a great technique for more percussive playing. The Playing The Didgeridoo CD 3 teaches this technique.

  • Excellent diaphram control!

  • Wow, thanks frogfurz! Glad it inspires you. I'll do another one at our next Didge Breath concert for you

  • Hey cheers for the great feedback, glad you like it and congratulations on your new didges! The overtone you are referring to is a gentle and fairly deep hum with my voice. Experiment with the pitch of your hum as how high or low you do it with blend with the drone in different ways. Have fun!

  • This is the video i watch when i need inspiration!!!!

  • wow cool rhythm matt, just got 2 didges from tony, cool as !!! just a question howz that low undertone done at around 5.57 ish? hope the recordings going well for RED cannot wait

  • Hey mate. If you go to Didgeman80 and see his post on didg tips. he shows you how to do those overtones and some other good techniques.

  • This is a Hemp Didgeridoo. It was a result of the Hemp project Si and Jon undertook with others a couple of years ago. Loud and clear!

  • Awsome rhythm Matt. Is that a Si didg?
