An in-depth and nuanced treatment of the subject. The panelists come from different backgrounds and their pre-occupations reflect this diversity. The discussion is lively and full of humor and makes one want to discover their work. I've already read Francis Levy's novel and have ordered Esther Perel's book. There is insight to be gleaned from the discussion and one is left with much to reflect on. Suggestion: the panelists suggest a bibliography at the end reflecting their views. Thank you All!

This is just a wild guess, but I would think that monogamy is good for those who are involved in a mutually beneficial mongamous relationship (for so long as THAT relationship is mutally beneficial) and bad for those who are confined to a monogamous relationship that is not mutually beneficial (for so long as THAT monagamous relationship is not mutualy beneficial). No?
I agree Esther Perel is amazing. What a fantastic, intelligent and stimulating discussion! Thank you!
