  • Thank you for sharing... I worked in PICU, ER etc for 22 plus years. After a life changing injury, I am inspired by your story... a walk through the past for me. After serving many in my career, your video and profound story is serving me and so many others faced with varied trials. Praise God. His mercy endures forever. Thank you again. The quality of this presentation is excellent and should be seen by all... God bless you and your family.

  • @AgapeTouch Thank you for your kind words. Sofi is now visiting Rotary clubs in our district to tell her story and raise funds for Children's Hospital, she uses this video to give a visual for her journey. Thank you also for your thoughts of the presentation- it was something we never imagined creating during her illness, but has been a good tool to do good. Kind Regards.

  • Such a strong girl, such an inspiration! Terrible syndrome, so much pain.. I hope she is fully recovered by now!!

  • @TheRoroki Thank you, Sofi is a well of determination, she worked very very hard to recover. Had you experienced GBS?

  • @kbranen Yes, I was completely paralyzed as well. From one day to the other. Now, Im back to work and even though I do have some difficulities (specially with my knees) am so happy to be able to walk & smile again :) Best wishes to Sofi!

  • @TheRoroki It's such a frightening experience. I'm happy to hear you are doing well again. I will have Sofi read your good wishes. I hope your knees improve. cheers

  • URGENTE: el padre de un compañero que es policia le han detectado esta enfermedad y no hay especialistas en Peru como se le puede ayudaar que medicamentos es recomendable, toda mi promoción se ha unido pero que mas se puede hacer....gracias

  • I am sorry to hear that you had to take a year off of college- but happy that you are on the road to recovery and returning to school. Each persons experience with GBS seems to be unique, with the illness & recovery. Sofi's recovery was relatively quick, considering the severity of her illness. Once she came home from the hospital, she refused to use a walker and walked independently (slow and w/ lots of breaks) almost immediately. I wish I had an easy answer for you, the best of luck to you.

  • i'm 18 yrs old and being attacked by GBS since last yr which made to stop my college for an yr... but still i cant walk without any support and my college is going to reopen within three weeks....i would be happy if u post any video on how to walk w/o any support

  • Thanks for your comment, and good luck with your 5k. Thank you also for your work with the organization, I'm sure it helps many people get through the hardest times of GBS and supports them going through the long road of recovery. kristine

  • Great job! Fabulous job with your story. I am a GBS survivor too. It is truly amazing how God can use us for His glory once we've experienced such devastation. I had GBS 7years ago and am a Pediatric RN. Being a liaison for the foundation has been such a blessing as well. We are hosting our 5th GBS-CIDP 5K and Miracle Mile on May 7th in Charlotte and would LOVE to have your join us.Please watch this youtube and join us May 5th and 7th this year!!
