cheapest way is to buy some green fabric. for this video i bought some at ikea. for it to work well you need good lighting and editing software that can chroma key

bought a $30 green fabric from ikea and then used the chroma key effect in adobe premiere pro.

its surprising simple to do, all you need is good lighting (Y)

Did you use professional lighting or just used lamps without the shades?

I had one light very similar to an arri 1k.

and i had 3 flood lights. it was a very cheap way to do it but very tricky. you have to try and light the green screen one f-stop higher than your subject, and try to make sure no green is splashing onto whatever you are shooting.
