Im going to attempt these soon. Im going to breed a male carpinte to a female jag then cross the male texas back to a female Jagtex then cross a male of one of those offspring to a female Jag tex. It should make fertile jagtex

Yeah it's cool for what it is. And I'm not that big a hybrid fan. I mean if you like it more power to ya I'll never tell ya what to do with you're hobby/pet. I like to treat crossbreeds like I would my car. I mean a prius is cool and all for what it does/is but I'll keep my truck and try to murder the ozone a bit faster. Haha.

Dont get me wrong they look cool as shit. But i dont think it would be cool if you sold these to anyone. Shit like that can ruin the hobby. If everyone did this to all their fish, you'll never be able to get pure fish again. Every fish will be muts. Like cats n dogs.

how big is your tank? cuz a jaguar cichlid grows pretty big, people said the minimum tank size you need is a 125 gal for a full grown cichlid.
