  • how is the 6.5 running? I found one for sale and want to convert it. just wondering what success you have had.

  • I think you should do a little more research on the subject. However, to answer your question Ive been running SVO for a little over 40k miles and it has paid for the truck, conversion, and now covers my repairs and maintenance. The truck could blow up tomorrow and I made money driving it around. Thats why I do this. Thanks!

  • why would you do this to your vehicle?? svo is not good for the life cycle of a diesel engine. spend a few cents and make it into biodiesel.

  • great vid

    im a greaser 2 i have converted a 90 f250 and a 6.5 suburban

quick tip use the black foam that you get at a pluming store in 10' lengths it works great and is only bout 5 bucks each! less work and easier to get into later and modify if nessisary. let me know if you have any problems with the system chances are i can help you work through them as ive been doing this 3 years

  • The only black foam I could find was not big enough to wrap around both coolant lines and the one fuel line. Are there bigger sizes of the foam? You're right about the tape not being "easier". I had to take some of it off already and the only way to do that was to cut it off. Thanks!
