  • The quiet drum beats in the background really make this.

  • engaging hostile!

  • I think this was used in New Vegas. I swear I'd hear this soundtrack while near certain areas.

  • @Impulse9090 Indeed. this is the bgm if you're in Caeser's Legion territory.

  • "Hold your tongue wastrel"

  • Awe true to Caesar!

  • @jakascott 21 Ave is spelled with a v not a w the v is pronounced like a w. Now write Ave true to Caesar 100 times by sunrise or I'll chop your balls off. If you know where this quote is from then you are a winner

  • @Kilroy6934 watch yourself profligate!

  • @jakascott21 Hold your tongue wastrel!

  • @Kilroy6934 degenerates like you belong on a cross!

  • @Kilroy6934 Some line from the cancelled fallout game code Van Buren?

  • @TheS4MM Monty Python

  • this is used in caesors fort i think

  • "get moving profligate!"

  • This game showed human nature in its most basic form: That though the bombs dropped, life continued, people made the best and worst of their situations - Out of all of this, they continued to be sarcastic, witty, make humor of their situation and even entertain themselves.

Though, through the laughs and surreal gestures in the Wasteland, only one thing was there to constantly remind the player of the true dire situation that human kind is in this Post-Apocalyptic future:

    The music.

  • watch yourself, profligate!

  • oh yeah , this sounds like a injektion of psycho for me ... love it

  • This song fits the Boneyard PERFECTLY. Loss of humanity, desperation, and survival.

  • Hold your tongue, wastrel.

  • "Degenerates like you belong on a cross"

  • For me it also played at the Mojave Outpost when i killed all the NCR troopers i mean everyone

  • Thank God, I've been looking for this creepy ass song for hours. First time I heard it was at The Fort.

  • this plays at The Fort and Camp McCarran in New Vegas

  • Keep moving, profligate.

  • Ave, True to Caesar (Hard C).

  • wow this song is used in the fort on new vegas. but this song doesn't suit gunfireand leigonarys dying.

  • @MrThejoshmon it suits more like a giant bone yard where people died fighting and only dusts and echos remain, other than the death claws and scavengers, wish they made a location like that in New vegas in the far corner of the map, like just wide open space with sand and bones all over with death claws and dusts storms, dead scavengers and a town at the far side of it

  • @jakascott21 and thats what modding is for

  • @jakascott21

The Courier's Mile at The Divide does that. :D

  • You can't comprare the masterpiece that Fallout 1 and 2 are compared to Fallout 3.

Yes, they're all great games. But Fallout 1 & 2 gave me a feeling i cannot describe. The game is so immersive and fun, indeed one of the best RPG's of all time.

  • @JoseBaiona Im just glad the series still lives on.

  • I swear to god I've heard this in New Vegas somewhere! I think it was at "The Fort" when I visited Ceaser for the first time...

  • @Crnic99 Quite alot of the classic Fallout tracks have been integrated into New Vegas, adds to the immersion.

  • @Crnic99 when i visited ceasar, I went with my companion boone, we went up into his tent, and shot him in the forehead with a fucking 50.cal incendiary bullet then i dispatched the guards outside his tent, anyways great game and sountrack, every single time i hear it it gives me a picture of a town with ceasars legion raiders crucifying innocent people and burning people alive, and the next thing you no, some NCR patrol come through to find it a pile of burning and bloodied rubble, nipton

  • @jakascott21

innocent people-- people like you diserve to be on the cross. we set theme free in ways they can not see we gave theme a purpose.

  • @sharingundragon themes need purpose.

  • @jakascott21 I think Caesar has the right Idea, burn the dissolute and scum on this Earth.

  • @NANOFORGE

Except that degenerates like YOU belong on a cross. :P

  • "Los Angeles must have been the largest city in the world before the War. The LA Boneyard stretched on forever, the skeletons of buildings lying under the hot sun... not even the wind would enter this dead city."

  • @Theoverseer95 the vault dweller iS FUCKING BADASS

  • I think I remember this one from Fallout 2's... Uh... That mission where you're investigating the (supposed) murders and mutilations at some farmstead. As a kid, I literally had nightmares about the place. I almost had to stop playing because of it. =(

  • @Elena9545

You are not alone my friend. I was scared of that place before i even saw it and i was actually avoiding it for a while. XD

  • @dem0nk1d123 LOL same here, I actually only dared go there after reading the quest walkthrough...

  • Reminds me of 'Grass' by Aphex Twin.

  • @l2tdak SAME!!!

  • This is the theme for a boneyard? Can't wait to get there when I try the game.

  • It's called 'the boneyard' but it's actually post-apocalyptic LA.

  • Oh, I see. Thanks. The music does seem very fit for a graveyard.

  • Comment removed

  • Oh, yeah. I just got to the place.

  • @crysiseternity I'm pretty sure the official name for the track is "City of Lost Angels". Which is more appropriate.

  • @patrunjelu Possibly, though the title here suits the creepy music a bit better.

  • I'm having a lot of trouble with the soundtrack for this game. I can't extract anything as an MP3 file. I did this about a year ago, on my old PC, but the new one somehow can't manage it. Any ideas on how/where I can get MP3 files of the OST for this?

  • Hi.

Google for "Youtube Downloader" and get it, download these videos with it and use the same program to convert into .mp3.

  • Rarg, Rarg, Rarg *you got a cripled arm*,

Rarg *you got a cripled leg*, Rarg "OMFG stupid Deathclaw let me do something" Rarg... Finally my turn! shoot the monster for 3 points of damage... Rarg, Death... =(

  • @G3ckobain I feel your pain

  • @G3ckobain Not even the carrion eaters are interested with your irradiated corpse :P

  • This soundtrack perfectly suited the quests in the Boneyard. I remember going up against the Deathclaws with my power armor and plasma rifle. It makes you feel like a fucking badass!

  • i really have trouble with the original fallouts. they're hard. ima keep trying though. help?

  • Trial and error , thats basically what it comes down to. You have to figure out some things and you might just have to start a new character

  • Fallout 3 should have just recycled the music from the old games, period.

  • Amen to that! There is a PC mod where you can replace the F3 tunes with music from F1 & F2 though...it's pretty awesome.

  • I thought the song was called "City of lost angels".

  • Deathclaws.

  • i think its perfect theme

its awaking feeling of emptiness in me

its perfectly suited for Angels Boneyard

  • This song stuck with me the most because not only was it similar to the one used in the intro narration, but it was simply haunting and tragic. It just got to me, especially when I was doing the quest in the Boneyard where the mayor or whoever sends you to kill off the Blades because they supposedly murdered his son, but it turned out to be his own guards who did it. After you bring back evidence of this he flips and it erupts into a town-wide battle with the guards. Great game.

  • Yeah..That quest was intense... The whole town went haywire. I was glad I picked up my turbo-plasma rifle and hardend 51-T power armour before the "civil war" started.. >_>

  • @arkainjalex12 Best part of that town-wide battle in Adytum: planting a bunch of powerful weapons on the peasants so that then the fight breaks out, they absolutely decimate the guards

  • @arkainjalex12 one of the most epic quests in Fallout.

  • Very haunting. Love it.
