850R an s60 Are The same engine just upgraded electronics, turbos an other things.

But orginal 850R And S60R does sound different but orginal The 850R got cooler sound.

Often The oldest got Most nice sound.

Considering the way that engine bay looks, it could very well be an early S60 engine.

@krille240 Because .... the engine in the NEWER 300BHP s60R has a differnt moulding and shape . the OLDER, 850 r has THIS engine , I have no doubt it can be at the power of the new one (easily done with tuning) but its the old engine , (which btw is epic:) )

haha, we took the tranny from a 960 aka M90, it fits on the engine like a glowe :D

Yes, the M90 was the RWD version of the 850 engine...

Did you buy a brand new engine, or pick one up from a crashed vehicle on a wreckyard ?

The M90 was a transmission from European 940/960s. Not an engine designation.

Sorry, i meant transmission of course: The M90 was the rear wheel drive version of the 850 transmission, meaning that engines and transmissions of RWD and FWD models were interchangeable

det ser du på om motoren står på tværr eller rakt med bilen, står den på tværr er det framhjulsdrift, og står den rakt med bilen er den bakhjulsdrift.

Stämmer inte alltid... Audi t.ex. har haft rakstälda motorer och framhjulsdrift. Saab 900 har detta också.

Haha. snyggt. det passade nästan in med det gröna. fast det hade varit mycket snyggare ifall det hade varit blått lr nått :) funderar själv på att sätta det i min 940 :)
