Clana was all about the background music and the amazing chemistry between the actors! The combination of everything is what made Clana one of the best couples on TV (I wish someone would try to argue with me that Clana wan't the best couple on TV when it was on) lmao! I love the way Clark looks at Lana here, epscially when he trembled after he called her name while she was desending the stairs to only savor the moment, I have never seen him so afraid to lose her like this episode. even when came into the barn and saw her, I love how he was awestruck by her looks and of course the total adoration before he leaned and brushed his lips to hers before giving her a tneder kiss,,,

this eppy was one of the most INTIMATE CLANA moments, I just simply ADORE it!

I miss the old seasons of Smallville. not that the new ones are bad it's just that to me, they way they always looked at each other you could see how much they felt about each other, plus I miss Jonathon and Martha alot. I miss that they were always there giving Clark advice and protecting him so much and am I the only one who notices that in the new season, they use alot of lighting?

I remember seeing this specific scene from this episode, it's just so chilling. By itself, this scene probably wouldn't have been as poignant. But, when you add this song, it just gives so much depth, like you know that something bad is going to happen. The words of the song go so perfectly with this scene:
