English Grammar & Punctuation : How to Use a Comma Before Quotation Marks

can someone please tell me If you ALWAYS put commas inside quotation marks.....?

Note I'm not asking where to put the comma, but rather if you always do it when the sentence continues, for example:

'Let's go,' said the man

The comma position I know is correct, but should there be a comma on every occasion when the narration continues?

@LashFalse I intended to write a polite comment on a English learning video and didn't even write the sentence correctly! What I was meant to write was:

Thank you, I get really confused in where to put them (comers)

God bless you!
