A GTX 580 would have been smarter with a single monitor setup. With the extra $350 you could of gotten some Ripjaws or Vengeance RAM and a much better Gigabyte/ASUS/MSI Motherboard.

It may also have the pixel-pushing power for another 4 years or so, but the tech will change. DirectX 12 will be about by then, and new architectures. @reactcirca - I don't think what you have done is dumb, I just think it's a poor choice, especially for 720p. The 570 can deal with 29280 Mpixels/sec. Overkill, even for the next few years, and definitely for that resolution. Upgrade to a 1080 monitor and you will still not need to upgrade for a few years...

My friend it is able to play battlefield 3 with q6600 and gtx 260 4 gb ram at low setting ... @gmxgamer RAM is extremely cheap and 6GB is pretty much standard nowadays. BF3 and lots of upcoming games will use more than four cores. Plenty of games needs more than a single GTX 580 to play on ultra beyond 2560x1054 (3GB version is a must).
