@suiamanda There really is no excuse that I'm 100% sure of, but I know that a new show on the CW (the "official" channel of Gossip Girl) called Life Unexpected that will be taking the place of Gossip Girl until it comes back.

Anyways, the official air date isn't confirmed because they're still deciding when exactly to air it, but it will be in March (unless CW does a total 180 and does a million breach of contracts and airs it in January).
