  • CHECK OUT THE HARD TRUTH, OAKLAND RAIDERS....

  • IT'S OFFICIAL THE RAIDERS NAMED BRONCOS DC DENNIS ALLEN AS THE NEW HEAD COACH!

  • @1985Raiderfan Video should be up soon....

  • @rollercoasterfweak Terrific thanks for letting me know!

  • The Raiders pick Broncos DC Dennis Allen to be their coach, a league source tells NFL Network's Michael Lombardi.

  • @rollercoasterfweak But we're no longer gonna keep him correct?

  • So why hasnt Chuck Bresnahan been fired ?

  • @raver823 The Raiders removed the coaching staff on the team's website. Does that tell you enough?

  • WE ALL, ( us real Oakland Raiders fans) need to question this thing going on with Green Bay. WHY are we considering some of their defencive coachng staff as our new head-coach after we witnessed their collapse against the NY Gaints. Shyt man, realize the Packers D is no better than our current personal. The only realistic person who can come right in and make the biggest impact, and give this defence our swagger is "Chucky" (aka) J. Gruden

  • @MrAss707 Gruden is an offensive coach.

  • @rollercoasterfweak

Yes, but the time he spent with Tampa... think anything rubbed off on him?

  • ..Hue deserved to get fired, nothing changed, period... in fact, it got worse.. and to hand first place to the donkeys.. jezeee..and the playoffs.. unacceptable!..

  • @moviebuff383 That was Chuck's fault the Defense just gave up!

  • The players were no longer behind Hue, yes it is Hue's fault for the poor defensive play! he is the HEAD coach and ultimately is responsible for the WHOLE team to be prepared or at least make adjustments to fix areas of concern. There were countless poor decisions during game times that Hue made especially 3rd and short and clock management. Bottom line is Raider fans for years have been bitching for a GM to be hired and come in a do a GM's job and now we have one doing it your still not happy!

  • @gil03 I'm not one of those "bitching" for a GM. I still miss Al.

  • Reason why the Raiders are now searching for a new Head Coach:

    1. Look at the Bills & Lions losses, in both contest Oakland had huge leads & blew it. Win those games and you finish 10-6. Playoffs!

    2. Owner Mark Davis is trying to put his stamp on this team, believe me it was his decision and not new GM Reggie Mckenzie to fire Jackson.

    3. New NFL record for penalties !

    4. No Darren McFadden for half of the 2011 season.

    5. Hue Jackson deserves some of the blame but he should not of been fired.

  • @mrdestiny2011 The Bills & Lions game was blamed on Chuck FatAss!

  • Injuries hurt us but Hue wasn't ready to be a head coach.

  • @raiders7528 But it was really the Defense that hurted us more take back to the Bills game in week 2 we had a good lead and at the end we blew it!

  • @raiders7528 The defense and the Detroit game really costed him. He needed to

    1. Go for 2 when scoring the defensive TD.

    2. NOT throw it and go for a home run on a 3rd down when we need a 1st. (It's happened 3 times this season, only worked once).

  • I heard Palmer's gonna be gone too we are so FUCKED!!!!!

  • We Want Gruden!

  • Hurry the fuck up & fire Bressnahan!!!

  • @raver823 He's gonna leave when his contract expires whiches this monday I hope

  • Dude, why are you putting your team down? There's no time for bitching & moaning. I know the Raiders will be much better off this way with Reggie Mckenzie as the GM, & a new head coach. You will all see that next year, & in the long run. Now, Carson Palmer is a good quarterback, but one problem is he risks his passes deep down the field too much when its two on one coverage. Also he needs to use all his receivers, not just stick to his mains. But I'm very stoked about next year! Go Raiders!

  • @rene831 Transitioning in the short term will take time.

  • Bring back Gruden! Stay in Oakland! Top 2 priorities!

  • thats what happens when you hire a gm rumor i've been hearing mckenzie's a green bay rep will hire as coach winstin moss green bay assistant coach because they are boys... GM's like to hire their people so that was partly hue pink slip but we shall see what the future hold raiders back to la we share the team with oaktown

  • @L200199 I figure he's going down that line. He's probably waiting for the Packers season to end so he can make his move.

  • A message to This Mekinzi "I DON'T CARE IF U PLAYED FOR THE RAIDERS A WHILE BACK U STUPID FUCK FATTASS AS SAME AS U DID TO HUE JACKSON THE RAIDER FANS WILL DO IT TO U THIS TIME AFTER 1 SEASON WE R THE ONES WHO CALL THE SHOTS NOT THE GM WITHOUT US U WUDNT HAVE A JOB! WITHOUT US YOUR FATTASS WUD STILL B IN GREEN BAY SO I'LL TELL U THIS!! U HAVE 1 SEASON TO GET US TO THE PLAYOFFS OR ELSE YOUR GONE JUST LIKE HUE WHY CUZ WE SAY SO!!!! SO ROLL UP YOUR SELVES & GET US TO THE PLATOFFS LIKE U SAID U WU

  • ..so are the RAIDERS staying in Oakland? or moving to L.A. again?.. so many are speculating on face book.. and I do know Los Angeles is going to get an NFL team next season?..or whatever.. i welcome change, but hope they stay in Oakland :)

  • Oh, i forgot to mention....

Peyton Manning. think about that. any future possibility going to Oakland?

  • @MrAss707 too expensive

  • @rollercoasterfweak

in pro sports, what isnt expencive?

  • @MrAss707 if we're talking cap space and what we'd have to give up, it's too much. Palmer already has a fat contract.

  • @rollercoasterfweak

True, you watching playoffs this weekend. If the Pack looses to NY, do you think we'll grab a new head coach (Moss) once Green Bay season is over?

  • On a final note I would have rather seen Hue demoted back to OC and continue to work with CP3, DMC, and DHB, and others. Hue averaged 26 points per/game while in Oakland, another season, an actual full season with OTAs and camp, we would have averaged 35 points per game.

On the other side of the ball, defence, I would have like to of witnessed Singeltary don the Silver&Black as DC, get the swagger back, and stop the run. 11-5 season easy.

Now that I think about it I should be Raider GM.

    Miss Al

  • @MrAss707 i agree on hue back to OC.. he a big reason why the raiders offense has improved

  • i think Hue thought he was gonna be able to manipulate Mark Davis.. he kept on saying " I will have a stronger hand with mthis team,, i will do this... i will do that".. he didnt understand that he was COACH!! a simple COACH!!.......but the common thing to do is to keep Palmer and let him work with this offence.. WEST COAST OFFENSE BABY!!! THROW IT DOWN THE FIELD!!

  • @71Alraider dude....the west coast offense throws down the field 2 times a season.....It wont work with Palmer, Moore, DHB, Ford....all deep threats, not made for running quick slants and 5 yard hitches, they are made for post routes, go routes, comebacks, deep outs....If we want the West Coast Offens ethen we have to get rid of all of those guys...plus it is a pass first offense which would mean we cant use DMC or Bush a lot

  • @raider1297 maybe ur right..but we can't be a run first offense with DMC.. why because he has proven that he is SOFT.. he can't be a work horse of an offense...and now that Hue is gone.. probably Branch and Bush wont resign...So we have our Big Arm deep threat QB now... lets start using him..maybe the West Coast O is not that bad.. y?? Because imagine having 4 Wr on the field with that speed.. dump it down the field...5 yrds, 10 yrds, 15 yrds.. it doesnt matter keep the ball moving

  • @71Alraider But we need Bush How the hell are we gonna keep running the ball if we let Bush go we'll have to start all over

  • @steventheraiderful yeah but i doubt he will stay.. he was a Hue guy so was Branch

  • @71Alraider But we need him badly what if DMC gets injured agin? I don't 6 years ago to repeat it's self can not alowe it

  • I just had the ultimate in nightmares, good thing it will not happen in real life, or at least i hope not. imagine the 49ers and donkies in the superbowl. holy shat... we would never hear the end of it

  • @MrAss707 Hope that never happens I want to see either GB Vs NE, Baltimore Vs, GB, NYG Vs NE, Baltimore Vs NYG, Baltimore vs NO, or NE Vs NO

  • Mark Davis is no Al Davis. Al made football what it is. Mark would not be in NFL if not for his dad. I hate to see the Raiders in the hands of this brat. It is the end of the Raiders, he will move the team to LA. I live in LA and Raiders fans in LA will not be as devoted as oakland fans. They left LA because of empty statiums. They will loose respect and fans will not show to the games. LA fans are bandwagon fans, and the only raider fan base in LA are gangsters. Good luck bringing revenue.

  • @yuyu9090 YOUR ON POINT

  • i dont know how he could get rid of him when he almost made the playoffs WITHOUT the raiders best players. with mccfaden no doubt they win 10 games.... and i could care less about the raiders

  • I don't like the firing of hue Jackson....McKenzie should have fired bresnahan instead ....u know,at least give Jackson another year to prove himself but it is wat it is ...n another thing ..I think the raiders franchise should stay in Oakland ...that's our home and it goes with our mystic and image ...guess time will tell on where were ganna b and wat we will look like in 2012....I would like to see Jon gruden come back and coach this team ....here's to hoping ...go raiders!!!

  • i'm a die heart charger fan and was so happy we beat yall and as much as i hate the raiders i felt bad for jackson when i heard he was fired after 1 year but i do see why he got fired yall broke the nfl record for penalty's and lost to us of course lol

  • ..some of you people and so called fans take sports way to seriously lol.. quit stressing out over things you can't control.. ...RAIDER NATION

  • RaidersFan223 well said.. and im gonna do a video blog of my own, coz so many think they have facts, and don't lol..and so many are wagon jumpers too.. real RAIDERS FANS stick around, period.. people are so paranoid lol.. oo wow a new coach..so what! lol.. Raiders have been doing this so long, who cares now..what else is new.. be positive and let's wait and see what happens.. THEN make your judgements and than u can freak out lol..

  • @andycmac No Kidding I was shocked too and these fakers would not shut up god when are try gonna go away? I don't who get as coaching as long as it's not Art Shell, Tom Cable or Dennis Green!

  • i was totally shocked when i heard the news yesturday...could'nt he have demoted him to OC coach rather than fire him...but you never know this time next season we could be in the play-offs and this chapter will belong forgotten!!

  • @McClainTrain55 Noooo none of us didn't want Shell back or Cable namely don't want Dennis Green in either oh boy but I don't care if we bring back Gruden or bring in Moss we need to hire a DC since Chuck FatAss is heading out the door Sunday!

  • THIS HURTS MAN

  • Man we so think alike Man, I agree 100% with you its really pissing me off,

  • Try dealing with the trolls over at yahoo/AP articles. I tear them up every day. lol We should have kept Hue as OC. I personally like the way the man spoke. I never looked at the negatives as it being Hue directly. I am, however, going to blame the D for their lack of hearts on fire. Remember Seymour getting to Brady? Where were the sacks Black Sunday?

  • @open1337 Oh yea... pretty amazing I know.

  • am i the only one who doesnt want winston moss as head coach.. he has no head coaching experience... and please dont bring back gruden remember when the raiders brought back art shell?? yeah ugly

  • we needed to stay with coach jackson give the guy 1 more year with palmer, and get new d coach (like moss) we had 1 of the best offenses in the game even with all the injuries, but i can see that coach jackson did not have control of his guy's because we set the all time record for penalties with yards...wtf.... crazy. all i hope the raiders stay in oakland =) RAIDER4LIFE

  • He knew how to use our speed. I'm still pissed

  • You Realize that Hue had lost respect in the locker room. He was alienating players and did not show any sense of urgency. He was a dynamic Offensive Coordinator, however he was not a good HC. This was plain to see. Put it this way, Raider Fans are hungry, and Hue Jackson brought us Ravioli's WHEN HE WAS TRYING TO MAKE LASAGNA! He was a POOR MANS HC. I would love to have someway kept him as OC, but that we all know wouldn't happen. Finally, this year failure is on AL Davis.

  • Reasons why I'm happy he was fired:

    - toying with the media. He has a huge ego and it was detrimental to the team.

    - Clock management / dumb timeouts. In those two regards, he's likely the worst coach I have ever seen.

    And finally, and most importantly,

    - Refusing to shake the hand of Norv after the Chargers loss because he was "pissed" and "didn't want to get harassed by people." That is beyond sophomoric - it's a complete and utter embarrasment.

    Let's go get Winston Moss!

  • @RaidersFan223 EXACTLY! HE LACKED, AND MAN DID HE LACK AS A HC. I KNOW WINSTON MOSS IS THE FAVORITE, HOWEVER I WONDER IF JON GRUDEN IS ON THAT SHORT LIST SOMEWHERE. I READ THAT JOHN MADDEN LIKED GRUDEN FOR THE RAIDERS A LOT. ACCORDING TO THE REPORT, IT SAID COACHING THE RAIDERS AGAIN ME BE THE ONLY JOB OFFER THAT MAY BRING GRUDEN OUT OF BROADCASTING.

  • Thank god both Skiesgrayful or Clown has not come on here but I'm pretty sure they're the same person.

  • I feel ur pain about Hue, he seemed like a good fit, but Mark Davis is lettin all of us know that it is his team now and he's gotta do right and build a champion. He said in 48 yrs the only won 3 times, that's a good way to look at it, he wants to win and surpass his dad i'm sure. Firing a coach who was 8-8 sends a serious message to the players and the league about the direction the team is headed. 7-4 we finished strong and made the playoffs Hue would be here, but too much of rollercoaster!

  • Also i hope the guy the bring in UNDERSTANDS the weapons and depth of the offense and puts in a system that plays to there strength. For years the Offense was TERRIBLE to watch last year was a slight turnaround thanx to Hue, but this year they were consistant and puttin up numbers. The DEFENSE NEEDS A MAJOR OVERHAUL they were great last year and SHIT THE BED this year. I'm gonna take a wait and see approach b4 i make up my mind, but the first few hires will set the tone for next year!!!

  • P.S. If McKenzie can fire Hue, then there should be NO logical reason for Chuck Bresnahan to be back next season! It's time to "go in a direction" with the defense as well.

  • This is probably the worst move the Raiders could have made this off season. I know a lot of Raiders fan didn't like Hue jackson's play "non-traditional" calling, but I did. I thought his plays were different and because they were different it through teams off, you never knew when the long bomb from Palmer to D. Moore or DHB was coming. I really think Hue was not given a fair chance; he should've had at least one more season to show the Raider Nation what he really could do with this team.

  • Personally, i like this change. we have the chance to be run like the Packers currently are. we could possibly get Winston Moss at HC, an up & coming coach who is respected around the league. Darren Perry at DC, responsible for creating a much better Packers secondary, and possibly even Joe Philbin for a spot in the offensive coaching staff, the coach who has called the plays of the dynamic Packers offense. This new coaching staff has the opportunity to bring out the best in the Raiders players

  • ='(

  • McKenzie has a heck of a task considering all of his early draft picks are gone to other teams.

  • Oakland NEVER should have traded away the farm for a 32 year old QB, who by all accounts is falling OUT of his prime, and McKenzie will be building a heck of a roster through the draft: the way it should be. Richard Seymour and all his antics won't be allowed under this regime and this is a new era that the Raiders need.

  • Why would any Raiders fan be upset by this move? You got a quality guy from a quality franchise who is going to turn the Raiders into a respectable franchise again. Im on the outside and you can clearly see that the inmates are running the asylum in Oakland. Under McKenzie, all that shit is going away. Expect a West Coast offense, a low key head coach who would rather take care of football matters in house rather than publicaaly bash guys on his team.

  • @HallofSteel Just the short term and rebuilding. The short term losing will suck a little bit. The offense IMO will regress bigtime.

  • @rollercoasterfweak i think Tom Clements will be a candidate for OC if it's vacant, i don't want him to leave Aaron Rodgers

  • @HallofSteel we didn't run a west coast offense.

  • Hue jackson will probly get hired somewhere next year

  • i can already tell that this gm is gonna either end up looking like a genius or a total dumbass lol

  • ..so when is Chuck gonna be fired ? lol.. im waiting

  • @moviebuff383 Contract expires on the 15th. No need to waste more money buying out a guy who will be gone in a few days. This was announced on twitter awhile back that him and Biekert/Woodson will be leaving,.

  • After thinking about it here is my analyst. I like the GM but Hue needed another year with Palmer and D-Mac, our offence averaged 26 pts per/game while Hue was here which is usually enough score to win, but our defence, we all know about it.

The game against Detroit cost us the playoffs, so we're not playing Pats this week. When we where up 13 on the Loins we didnt go for 2 with 5min left, then we throw deep and kill the clock with Lions having no timeouts. Hues fault for the Lion game.

  • ‎...wow such positive loyal fans we have here..lol not.. quit jumping the gun people, and being so paranoid..lol we won't know anything until the season starts, if this was a good descision.. Hue was a robot saying the same thing, "building a bully" "we will get better" "we will win the AFC west"... wrong lol... nothing changed period..

  • I just read all kind of shhh online...Hue said it was Mark Idea to fire him..All I can say good luck next year trying to score 15 point... All I knew HUE was a good OC.. Good Luck Raider Nations for next season.

  • This is bullshit !!! We only get one more video update ...it's been a roller coast season wouldn't you say ..??? Lol ...

  • I'm shocked, I really don't know what to say or think.

  • ..i just heard Hue blamed everyone expect himself? ..on a radio interview..is that true?

  • McKenzie bullied Hue. So doesnt it violate the Rooney Rule when an african american fires another african american???

  • Rollercoasterfreak how would you feel if Raiders moved back to LA or Jacksonville or Topeka???

  • @r8dr2012 Badly I want them to remain in Oakland I hate the chant "BEAT LA"

  • @r8dr2012 They're not going to move to Topeka when the chiefs exist... and not Jacksonville. stop the BSing.

  • @rollercoasterfweak i feel your pain my asian brotha from anotha motha

  • ***BREAKING NEWS*** Hue is applying to work as Chiefs Offensive Coordinator. seriously we should of never let him go. Brainlesshan was paid to sabotage our season, just like Bill Callahan. This direction were going better be good, as long as we dont move out of Oakland.

  • Broncos are getting fabricated to superstardom by americas fabrication media team to put christianity at a pedestal and blind the masses that Tebow is the way to be, in the end it will end up like a michael jackson or OJ saga. Go Raiders !!

  • with all these changes we better be in the playoffs come this season, or i will view mckenzie as the same line of failure.players need consistency and here we go again back to square one, im just sick of it all.the way hue talked about Al Davis was genuine hue deserved a second chance, if he failed again then he would at least gotten a chance to prove himself with a healthy team.

  • im at a loss too, Hue deserved a second chance. even to come back as an OC. All Hue needed was some time off to recollect himself. This sh*t, idea about moving the team is really pissing me off, if we move im done being a Raider fan. We belong in Oakland.

  • @r8dr2012 I agree. We will NEVER get a stadium in Oakland but if that's the way it has to be then so be it. I don't want to share with anybody at all. The Raiders will just have to continue to play in that shitty stadium in Oakland

  • Hue Jackson knows is offense, but he overstepped his boundaries by being so power hungry. Sounds like Winston Moss is the favorite for that job.

  • Meh, i miss Hue. Is he atleast O cord still? Or is he gone completly? I loved his bully attitude.

  • This did hurt. Hue was the best we had since Chucky. But when one season ends another begins. And if this is what its going to take to end or last decade of losing and mediocrecy. I'm all for it. Time for a New Begining of Winning. Just Win Baby.

  • I agree with this firing. McKenzie knows what a successful team looks like, Hue doesn't.

We want Gruden *clap* *clap* *clap, clap, clap*

  • i agree this SUCKS! SHOULD HAVE GAVE HUE A SECOND CHANCE!

  • Jon Gruden would be really interesting...

  • you have a VOL runnin shit now, things will get better for ya

  • i loved hue but with a new gm comes a new coach.. everyone who said that hue threw everyone under the bus is BS all year he took all the hate all year in the press conference's and then he finally let the team take the blame at the end when the year was lost. im just glad that are organization will finally be normal. we will hire someone solid but not a big name for our coach and we will get good coordinators we will be fine because we have a lot of talent and now we will have a hierarchy.

  • @kb2k23

Hue took a qb of the couch and brought him to Oakland for two high draft picks. Cincy is a playoff team now, and getting two picks which may top off their building. We dont have shyt at this point.

  • @MrAss707 we have a really good qb now and with a training camp he will be good.we and yes we lost a 1 this year but next year we will have all our picks except our 2 so its not the end of the world.

  • Unbelievable... coach after coach, qb after qb, and remember the warren sapps and randy moss's? always a wild turn in Oakland, but no turn has been a good one. Who knows where we're heading now. looking at the last 10 years of decission making id bet this is another ill minded move. Do understand Nothing got better. We still cant stop the run, now the penalty issue, and the defencive melt downs. Last season we had one issue, this year we have three issues.

  • @MrAss707 can't stop the run is the defense. Most of the penalties were caused by the defense and the last one you stated meltdowns of the defense was of course the defense. Relax and take a breather. Evaluate our team for real after what you just said. Our offense should still be good because we have a lot of good players in place already. As you stated and we all know it was the defense that killed us and that obviously needs overhaul. Trust me, all is not lost

  • @osaji922

Well... im tired of new coaches every year and it's insane.

OK, going back to Cable we had one issue, which has been a 9-10 year issue. We cant stop the run. Now we have two additional issues, poor defence, and an NFL record in penalties. "building a bully" nope... we dont play smart football.

Dont question my evaluation man because an "overhaul" statement doesn't hold water.

    Tha Raiduz

  • McKenzie better produce!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This press conference started to feel like the Raiders have finally lost their mystique. The vibe wasn't in the air like it was when Al Davis around. Mark Davis and McKenzie were giving away too much info about what they wanted to do with the team. Al would have never done that. And Mark saying that he knows nothing about football and he doesn't know what he is doing. I hope they learn to not say to the press like they did today.

  • @pboxelement I'm stunned. Before today everybody wanted Hue gone and I never understood why. Then today everybody didn't want Hue gone and once again I'm stunned. Then yesterday everybody was happy to know McKenzie would be GM but then today everybody is doubting McKenzie on what he can do when he's had success for 18 years in Green Bay. Why all this flip flopping?

  • I think Josh McDaniel would be a good fit for you guys, lol. All BS aside, just bring Flores out of retirement.

  • @bisquik3006 Flores is the radio guy. He's too old for the job.

  • @rollercoasterfweak Don't discriminate because of age. I think we are in the process of digging up Stram, and making a zombie coach out of him.

  • Don't get that move.

  • I think there is a reason why your team has been playing badly recently and have been unable to get back to the playoffs, your management stinks. You will have 7 head coaches since 2003. I feel bad for the fans and the players because nobody deserves to suffer this much... except the Browns.

  • @PowerRangers12345 Norv Turner had two years.. deserved nothing because of his passiveness. Art Shell's team was dysfunctional everywhere. Lane Kiffin was a bad hire in the first place, and Al Davis had to choose Hue Jackson over Tom Cable when deciding. Most of the firings were justified or the right thing to do.

  • @PowerRangers12345 Don't feel bad for us. We finally have a GM from an organization that functions right. For years this is what the Raider Nation has yearned for. The city of Oakland even put up a billboard telling Al Davis directly to get a GM. Now we have one and success will ensue soon

  • @osaji922 no offense, but your GM is an idiot. How do you get rid of a head coach that had their quarterback injured midseason and had their #1 running back injured too?

Its cool to know that the guy thinks with his gut. However, his gut should only think about whether to eat at McDonalds or Burger King.

  • @PowerRangers12345 I'll take the "idiot" that had success in making Green Bay what it is over anybody else any day. His credentials are extraordinary. How do you call somebody with the resume that he's had and idiot? What I find intriguing is that you're an eagles fan lol. I can't believe the Raiders are garnering this type of interest from fans all over the league. And people say we're irrelevant. You love us, you really love us

  • @osaji922 You usually don't get rid of a coach that gave your team a good chance to win... I mean, I wouldn't anyways. Especially when you see where the Raiders used to be.

I wouldn't say I love the Raiders, I wouldn't say I hated them either. I mean this is the team with the most classless fans in football with their riots during preseason games.

  • @PowerRangers12345 Now unless you've been to a game you can't say that it's true. Coming from an eagles fan kind of discredits your statement. You fans threw snowballs at santa clause. McKenzie is making this team 21st century. Not sure if you've noticed but our team was held back for years by Al Davis in some ways which hindered our progress. Just look at what Chuck Bresnahan did to our defense. For what it's worth I loved Al though and was the few that wanted him to win a super bowl again.

  • @osaji922 I have been to a Raiders game and while I was there I was naive enough to answer to a Raiders fan that I was not a Raiders fan. The people in my section harassed me to the point of the security guard had to escort my out of the stadium.

  • @PowerRangers12345 and guess what, my friend who is a cowboy fan that went to an eagle game said the exact same thing. The eagle fans harassed him all day. My sentiments are that there are no such thing as the worst fans. Every team will have fans like that. It's just because of the Raider image with the dark colors and the logo of a pirate that conveys an attitude that we're worse than we really are. But guess what, that's exactly what Al Davis wanted people to think even though it's not true

  • I agree with you it hurts. I'm gonna need booze to get over this. I loved Hue Jackson's demeanor and thought he was a great leader and play caller. I thought he was gonna be the guy to carry on Al Davis legacy. It's like back to square one again.

  • @jayman1up how is it back to square one. We now have a competent GM and still have great players on offense that can be utilized by a head coach picked by our competent GM. The type of turnaround I expect is a John Harbaugh, Jim Harbaugh, Mike Tomlin turnaround. I don't see why we can't with the way McKenzie operates and our 6 draft picks as well as his keen eye for getting undrafted free agents players

  • Are you going to root for the 9ers? :)

  • Hey rollercoasterfweak! Do you think it's a good idea for the GM of the Raiders to try to pursue Coach Chip Kelly who has a "Speed Style Football System"???

  • @dragonbal230 Screw that. Not interested in a spread...

  • In Reggie mckenzie I trust

    Raiders 2012

  • @01SilverBlack But if we fail then what?

  • @1985Raiderfan you can say that for just about any other scenario when it comes to the Raiders. Then what you ask? Who cares what the result will be. I'll still be a Raider fan jockin and cockin strong. We're fans. We're supposed to support our team no matter what. Look at the Lions fans. Look at the Saint fans (I know most are bandwagon)

  • Wow The New Raider GM Reggie Mckensie has Just Fired Head Coach Hue Jackson --

I Believe HUE made to many major mistakes with communication and time & team Mgmt and he let the Power that Mark Davis Gave him After The Death Of Al Davis Go to His Head Seriously ..so sorry Hue But Mistakes and Ego & Power Struggles Get People Fired In Real Life Jobs Aswell --Humble Pie Baby

  • I don't know but this might be a new era for the Raiders especially if Winston Moss is the new HC he looks like he's ready and hungry to win, so lets surprise the world next season and Go Raiders!!!!

  • Hue was a good coach. i really liked that guy.. i hope he gets a good job with a different team.. except any in our division haha

  • @osaji922 Now Wait a minute I thought we're getting two Comm picks awarded because losing Gallery will not be awarded and what's the forth one for?

  • @1985Raiderfan looked it up on a website that we would get a 3rd round compensatory and 3 other picks between the 4th and 7th rounds. Either way I'm not worried about the draft because smart teams with smart GMs find talent not only all over the draft but from undrafted players too like McKenzie did for the Packers. A lot of those players are undrafted and they play like hell

  • @osaji922 I don't get that and I never said lack of Quality

  • I'm not a fan of the move. Hue Jackson is responsible for the revival of our offense. Not only did the passing game improve dramatically, but he's the one who got Darren McFadden to go from bust status to elite performer. Carson was seeming to come along and I had great visions of what he would do with a full offseason with our young receivers. I hope he doesn't blow up the entire roster, at least on offense. We have a heck of a core there.

  • IM WITH YA BRO... IT WAS STUPID TO FIRE HUE... THEY SHOULD HAVE FIRED "CHUCK THE BRAINLESS-MAN"

    WE NEED STABILITY

  • @323raider

His contract wont be extended, or it shouldnt be

  • @323raider They're keeping him until the 15th.. when his contract officially expires.

  • I thought did an ok job as head coach but you can't force McKenzie who should be his coach. Finally the Raiders have entered 2012 and not 1983. It's time to move to a new era. McKenzie will be judged on wins and losses. For the people who say the Raiders are now just one of 32 - I say - it's about time! Just win baby, has never been more true - that's what its supposed to be about no just talk.

  • The Raiders have had like 7 or 8 coaches in the past decade. There's nothing else to really say.

  • @jruiz94 Franchise Campbell would be way too expensive plus unnecessary. Palmer is a much better QB than him period. Trading Palmer is an option I'd entertain if it generates quality.

  • @Rollercoaster: Hue Jackson, as HC, was ultimately responsible for the Defense even though he didn't call the plays (as every head coach is). You make it sound like Hue was the 2nd coming of Madden. McKenzie knows what he's doing. Give him a shot.

  • @pekkle007 I will... I just hope the offense doesn't regress too much as a result.

  • @pekkle007 No Chuck was he screwed up Chuck should of been the one that needs to go!

  • Mayb it wont be as bad as people think.. My faith is still there. Hopefully we franchise Campbell, trade or bench Palmer, sadly Bush will most likely leave, and then draft a quality pick. AFC West could still be ours next season .

  • @jruiz94 But I have a feeling it's gonna be 6 years ago all over again!

  • @hustlablaking *guy*

  • This is what a new GM does honestly. He wants his guy period. That shows Mckenzie has a plan and if there is a team that needs a plan it's the Raiders from a proven winner in Mckenzie. I don't like seeing Hue fired but I'm also excited that an intelligent gut like Mckenzie is getting right to work.

  • I'm watching the press conference now everyone.... I'll get back video-wise when a coach is hired

  • @rollercoasterfweak - where are you watching the press conference? its not on the raider site and it's not on you tube. Please help! lol

  • @bcut It was on ESPN

  • @steventheraiderful - oh ok thanks.

    I actually found it - everyone go to h t t p : / / w w w . c s n b a y a r e a . c o m

  • ...i don't know why you are so depressed about this lol.. Tom Cable 8 - 8 ..no playoffs,, Hue Jackson 8 - -8.. no playoffs.. and your happy with that? not me lol... Hue blew a lot of close games as well as CHUCK.. and the Palmer trade was such a risky move too..

  • @moviebuff383 Chuck was responsible for the defense, not Hue. I had no problem with Cable going as my video indicated last year.

  • ...bottom line, we won't know if this was a good change or not til the season.. but remember this.. Raiders should be in the playoffs NOW.. not the donkeys,, Raiders litterly handed them first place and the division and that's on Hue and Chuck in my eyes..

...of course you can't control the injuries.. but wins and losses are always on the HEAD COACHES..

  • ..if they don't deal with the penalty issue first, they won't ever make it to the playoffs, period..and when is Chuck going? lol.. people, don't take sports so seriously ..it's entertainment lol.. but its fun at times, and depressing .... another new coach eh lol.. RIP AL DAVIS

  • ...Hue loved the Raiders no doubt, and sure he had a great relationship with AL,, but great relationships don't get you to the playoffs.. smart coaching and playing smart football does.. thanks Hue for what you did, Raiders need a whole new change looks like

  • I am shocked you Raiders fans are rooting for the Patriots of all teams against us or even the Steelers as well....shame on you
