CW Sucks! I wish WNEQ was still on. I used to watch this in the morning and ownder what was going on with this station. I thought it was crazy back then, but I wish it still was.
As a lifelong Buffalo resident, I grew up with both Channels 17, 23, and all the rest. The simple and retro styles of 17 and 23 at the time might be why to this day I have a fondness for retro TV idents, logos, and music, despite having been born in 1985.
Modern-day TV just depresses me. American Idol this, Dancing with the Stars that. Rubbish. I'll take Nature or Wild America any day.
No wonder I watch Discovery, PBS, History Channel, and a little A&E now.

Does anyone have the sign-off for WNEQ? It was pretty much the same as WNED. Had both national anthems.
I would also love to see a sign-on for both stations. Both of them had the weather simulcast from I believe KEB 98 just after sign-on.

WNEQ is now a commercial station in WNLO (CW network), & is owned by the parent company of WIVB 4.
