It will make you really big for a short period of time. You are pretty much invincible with the big mushroom.

ROB- Robotic Operating Buddy. it was from the nintendo entertainment system as a sort of accessory that was a robot that helped you play the games. anyways, he appeared in mario kart ds as one of the hidden characters.
